  1. On Anthem late Sept and wanted to go to Porto Moniz and the rock pool there, as we visited in 2019 and thought it was a blast. We're there for 0730-1430 so just wondered if anyone had any experience of getting there freestyle or someone who does a tour there, as most tours involving it are dragging you to other places too, which we've done already. Any help, greatly appreciated.

  2. Have tried to find a definitive answer, but failed.

On Silhouette in September, Southampton round trip. Calls at Tenerife, so does a call in the Canaries mean this cruise can be considered VAT free please? Asking so I know if the prices in the on board shops will be even better than normal!

It's pre Oct 31st, so no need to mention the "B" word please.

    Thanks in advance

Hi I am visiting Sri Lanka with Costa Venezia do I need to apply for a Visa or do Costa have a blanket entry Visa for all passengers.

We are also visiting India and have been informed on our booking we require a Visa, but no mention of Sri Lanka

    Any advice please?

I'd get one in advance, it's easy and I believe free. FCO website gives you the link to ETA website.

  4. Any Zumba. Dancing classes? How are the bands playing music at night?

If anyone has recent cruise compass activities schedule? Love to see them.

    Thanks

Main band is 4 piece, not my style, but they get people up dancing. Nice little 3 piece, do Spanish & English music.

Guy plays piano & tells rubbish jokes in Schooner, but think he's leaving ship.

    Classical duo.

    Piano player.

Will look for activities on the compasses, which I've kept .

  5. Any comments about food or copies of menus?

Any tips or comments from staff about proposed drydock changes?

    Have a great trip!!

Food in SD has been great.

Offerings in WJ have been plentiful & of good quality. The Indian Curries have been very tasty.

MDR has been a disappointment. Rushed, smaller portions & not the quality I remember, but it has been a while since on Royal, as went to X & Azamara for last 7 years.

Been port intensive, so easier to eat in WJ I admit, but still, MDR not great (not knocking service btw).

  6. We have been getting full glasses in the Concierge Lounge to bring to dinner. We are going to the MDR tonight, so I'll ask and post the answer.

I asked at GR, the guy didn't seem to know about vouchers for D members. He did say they have happy hour at all the bars for those at D level.

    I'm lowly Platinum 😔

  7. We were at Chef's Table during sail away and didn't see any of the protest!

It was all in the port side and was when we got past San Basilio but well before St Marks. There were loads of protestors on the quayside & plenty of boats, but Police dealt with it fairly well, given difficulty on water. Bar the 2 fireworks fired at the ship, it was pretty harmless.

  8. Hi Mark,

How many formal nights in a 12-night cruise?

    Any free lobster for dinner?

Can I purchase day pass for WiFi for sea days only?

Appreciate you spent time answering while cruising.

    Thank you.

So far, we've only had 1, which was day 2. I think there'll be one more tomorrow.

Not been in MDR much to be fair, but not seen free lobster. It seems available every night if you pay for it!

I have seen them advertise day passes for Wi-Fi yes.
