  1. For those that have visited this bar, do you have to buy a day pass or can you just PAYG?

Is it easy to get a taxi back - are they waiting, will the bar call for one or do you have to pre-arrange return transport?

The website suggests they have a menu with other items - is that just at night or can you have those in the day? Are the prices in EC$? Thanks!

You can pay as you go. Gail will call for a cab for you both ways. It is $4.00 per person if there is 4 people, and $6.00 per person with less than 4. That is each way.

  2. We were here in November. We paid for the day pass. Gail was wonderful. Anything we needed she got for us. Our day pass price was $65.00 per person. That included a chair and umbrella, two rum punches, bottle of water and one of the best lunch bbq I have had. The service was great. We would definitely go back.

  3. Did you book airfare and hotels with Celebrity? Or did you book everything independently?

No I tried to book directly with the hotels but had to use a third party on some of them. All were cancelled. I guess if you happened to have originally booked with a hotel that is now open you would be ok. I had originally booked three different reservations with Hilton and they were all cancelled right away.

  4. Try the Olive Boutique Hotel. Their Facebook page says they are open and have power and water but their phones are not working so you will need to book on line.

Thank you for the suggestion. I checked on the website and the 27th just happens to be the only date they have no availability.

  5. We are sailing on Celebrity Summit on 10/28/2017. I am traveling with two 87 year olds. I have had 6 reservations cancelled. I really can not find us a hotel room and I am very leary of renting a house. If anyone knows of a hotel that will be available on 10/27/2017 I would greatly appreciate the info. Nobody will refund our money even though we have trip cancellation insurance. They will refund a small portion but we may have to do that if we can't get a room. The airlines can't change our flight either.

  7. Your statement does not seem correct. American has four nonstop flights from Miami to SJU on 10/28. All four have seats available and all four get you there early enough for boarding. AA has two non stops from DFW on 10/28. (You are from Texas?) They are selling seats for $128 one way.

AA has been very flexible at changing itineraries. I am on the 11/11 Summit sailing. AA allowed me to change my reservation to fly from SEA to MIA the day before. We overnight at an MIA airport hotel and then get an early flight to SJU. AA didn't charge me anything to make this change. They are being very flexible.

There are ways to solve this problem - if you want to solve it.

You should really get your facts straight before you blast someone. There are NO flights the day of on American. They are all overnight flights from our town which would mean we would miss the ship. They are also $1200.00. I never said American wouldn't work with me. They just don't have any flights the day of the cruise and certainly not for $128.00.

  8. We are traveling on the summit on 10/28/2017. I am traveling with my Father who is 87 and his friend who is also 87 and my sister. Puerto Rico Now is publishing hotels that will open on certain days and when I call these hotels they are not accepting reservations. I have had 6 different reservations and all have cancelled. I can't ask my father to sleep in the airport. American Airlines won't refund our money either and they have no flights the day of. This is ridiculous and greedy of this company to act like everything is great. No electricity, damage, water issues, gas issue and on and on. They are putting their customers in harms way unless they choose to loose thousands of dollars. We will never sail with them again.

  9. We are scheduled for the 10/28/2017 sailing on the summit. We received a call from Celebrity saying we are still good to go and we will are now going to St. Thomas. Have they lost their minds? How in the world can they say that. Hotels are not open. The airport is not open. How will we get a ride to the ship? This is crazy.

  10. Castro,

My sister and I will be there on October 31st. We would love to use your services. Can't wait to meet you.

We will be doing a Whale Watching tour in the morning with our father and then we will be heading straight to our favorite thing which is sitting on the beach. See you soon!

  11. I was there last week. This is the worst beach I have ever been to. I was here several years ago and it wasn't this bad. There was so much trash in the water and there were so many rocks that you couldn't ever get into the water. Shame on Royal Caribbean. They cancelled St. Thomas for Labadee. After watching 50 people at $100.00 a person do the zipline we figured out why they changed the itinerary.

  12. We were on Legend 3/30 - 04/17. We were thrilled to get 2 devices for 15 days for $155.00. The wifi was so slow it was worthless. I only received e-mails maybe twice in the entire cruise. We couldn't FaceTime family or our business. It was pretty much worthless. Don't waste your money.

  13. We were on the Legend when this occurred which was sometime around 4/03 The day after Guatemala people were ill. We had over 100 sick by the time we docked on 4/17. The crew did everything possible to clean the ship and tried their best to clean and avoid further sickness. We were careful in the windjammer and washed our hands often and thankfully avoided getting sick.
