Menus will basically be the same, but wait for my comments about the German Bierfest menu that was presented tonight!
Looking forward to it. Our cruise doesn’t go to Germany, so we may not have It.

Thanks so much for this excellent “live from”, we board the Rotterdam the day you get off. I’m assuming the daily programs and menus should be pretty much the same. Hope you’re having a great cruise!

It will update over the coming days. Including the option to take Security Photos, which I recommend as it saves time at checkin.
Thanks we got the photo update, and we will do it. Meanwhile, I will use your daily programs for the hours.

Ofcourse it depends on where you are boarding, but this week in Europe, on Rotterdam, Shorex was open from 1pm to 7pm. I would expect something similar, however you would be able to check using the app under 'Plan' > 'My Itinerary' > 'Hours'.
Thanks, we will actually be boarding the Rotterdam the day you get off. (Been following your ‘live from). I found the plan, and my itinerary parts on the app, but not the hours part. Maybe it hasn’t been posted yet.

Does anyone know what the shore excursion desk hours are on embarkation day? We have an early boarding time, and figure that should be our first stop to see about the two waiting lists we are on. Thanks…

Sure, just go on the HAL website and click on my itinerary (click shore excursions and it is at the top on the left hand side).
scroll down to the day of your cruise and just click cancel and it will be done. Wait a minute or go out and come back in and you will be credited back and be able to book a new tour. Hope there is one you like still available 🤞
Thanks, Jaqui, haven’t decided for sure yet. I’ve been taking longer walks lately trying to get in better shape. I hate to give up the one SE that we are not waitlisted for, (other than whale watching with you of course)

Can anyone tell me how to cancel a prebooked shore excursion on line about 2 or 3 weeks before the cruise.? I think it might be a little too strenuous for my old bones, and I’d like to exchange it for another one. It was part of the have it all package. Thanks.

I noticed on the itinerary on the Navigator app, they show 3 different options for dressing at dinner: dressy, casual, and smart casual. What’s the difference between casual and smart casual?

It’s easily walkable, even with luggage, in about 10 minutes. Use the back exit from the station, where the ferries leave from, turn right and you’re there.
Failing that there’s the tram #26, every few minutes.
Thanks ! Google maps shows it’s about a mile, and a 20 minute walk. I like your way better.

Does anyone know if the Movenpick has a shuttle from Centraal Station to the hotel? Or if it’s walkable with luggage, or if Uber is available? Thank you!

There's no boarding pass to print any more. DId you pick a boarding time on the Medallion Class App? It will produce a green QR code. From what I've been hearing, they aren't even checking for that. Do you have your Medallion? Just show up.
Whew, thank you! I guess the green QR code IS the boarding pass.

Where can I find our boarding passes on the Medallion App? The website says no need to print, just show it at check-in. We check in tomorrow and I just can’t find it. Please help!

What goodies are in this delightful coupon book?
In addition to the one listed above, discounts on shore excursions, spa treatments, on board shopping, etc.
-
Anybody?

Just received today an email with the coupon book for our cruise next month. I’m wondering if you have to print all the coupons, or can just show them on my tablet at the time of purchase. I’m interested in the free bottle of wine with embarkation day specialty dinner.

When is your cruise? We are 85 days out from cruise, and when I went to the dining reservations there was a pop up telling me I could book our complimentary dinner. When you go through the steps to book, did you click on your friends and get a green check? I did that and the balance was zero for our reservation with linked companion.
Thank you, our cruise is in 50 some days., yes, I clicked on their pictures and got the checks. But when I complete the reservation, it shows $58 will be charged to my credit card., so I don’t complete it. I guess we’ll have to make the reservations separately and hope they can put us at a table for four when we board.

Did you check this thread? The answer is in there somewhere.
I didn't pay much attention to it, because it doesn't affect me.
Thanks, but I couldn’t find anything there. I guess nobody knows about this.

Anybody? Please?

Is there a way to make advance reservations for two couples who are traveling together but have different booking numbers, and we all have complimentary dinners. I linked our booking numbers in the Medallion App, but when I go to make the reservation I only get a credit for two. What can I do?.

Has Princess changed their policy regarding carrying on1 bottleof wine like Holland America has? On HAL you are charged a corkage fee when you board whether you drink it in your room or not.

Thanks, everybody for all the suggestions. Unfortunately it’s going to make our decisions even harder, everything sounds so good, we may have to eat at Tamarind a couple of times on our cruise!!

The Tamarind seems to be the favorite specialty restaurant of a lot of people. We will be on the Eurodam soon, and we’re wondering what the “must try” dishes were. I realize taste is individual, but if you could fill in the blank, My favorite dish or dishes at the Tamarind are: ………., we would really appreciate it.

Thank you both for your answers. We are both “old school” (I don’t even have a cell phone, just a tablet.) We’ll probably end up printing all of our docs. Sounds like either way works. Thanks again!

We are sailing next week and have to fill out the Arrivecan form. Is it better to download the app, or just do it on their website? Or doesn’t it matter? Also, when should we be doing it? Thank you.

That’s terrific! BB Kings is our favorite spot. I hope the same bands are still on board next week.
