You say that as if I don't glance at the food and drink menu from their website every so often even though we're not going until July and I even have one cruise booked before that one, lol.

    Thanks again for the info.

    You sound like me!  lol

  2. They immediately brought us chips and salsa on their own and took our drink orders.  There are plenty of alcoholic and non alcoholic options.

  3. We arrived at Paradise Beach around 9 AM because I wanted as much time as possible there.  It was very empty when we arrived.  Despite having 7 ships in port, it never got so busy that it felt crowded on the beach or in the pool.  There were plenty of empty chairs on the beach throughout the day.  Service was excellent and quick all day.

  4. The problem at the Mason Jar is the servings are large making it challenging to try a lot of things.  Your wife with like the pizza.  I just got the cheese pizza and enjoyed it.  Tell her to also try the nachos.  She can pick and choose what she wants on them.  Although we decided nothing beats the nachos at Playmakers.  Off topic, but we really enjoyed having the unlimited specialty dining on the Wonder,

  5. I enjoyed the passion fruit mojito but did not care for the strawberry mojita (tasted very artificial).  All the food we had was good including nachos, individual pizzas, a burrito, and tacos.  My husband enjoyed trying different drinks and food so much that he had no appetite when we went to The Mason Jar for dinner that night. LOL

  6. We just returned from our cruise and wanted to report back regarding our beach bed experience.  There were 7 ships in port when we were in Cozumel and all the beach beds were reserved.  We had number 16 on the beach, which for us was the perfect location.  My husband is a beach guy while I prefer the pool so our location meant we were close to both.  The ones on the beach just seem a little more private than the ones by the pool.  Despite so many ships in port, there were still many, many unfilled beach chairs so, although it was busy, it did not feel overly crowded to me.  I liked that our beach bed also included a table and chairs for eating.  They were willing to bring you a lounge chair if you wanted one of those also.  The service was fantastic.  We both enjoyed our drinks and all the food.  I am not usually a napper, but I know I feel asleep at least once on the comfortable bed.  We truly enjoyed our day and this is our go to place when in Cozumel.  Happy to answer questions anyone might have.

  7. I board The Wonder this Sunday.  I have the UDP and have been checking times just to kind of check availability.  Everything has been showed to be full and continues to show no availability today.  I am going to assume it’s some kind of glitch and that there will be availability once I board.

You won't be disappointed... We loved ours and were disappointed that they haven't gone on sale again for our trip next week.  Even BF the price was still higher than I wanted to pay.  This score on the Hilltop Cabana I got for next week will be good to contrast our experience with the Bungalow.

I'll check back in on this thread in a couple of weeks with my thoughts.

I am not complaining I promise, but I still don't understand why the hilltop cabanas dropped so much in price compared to any of the other cabanas and cheaper than the bungalows.  During our first visit to Labadee, which has to be over 15 years ago, we were lucky enough to rent a hilltop cabana the night before despite not staying in a suite.  We loved the privacy!  But for those who want to be right by the beach, it might not be for them.  I am excited to have another opportunity to have the cabana for the day.

LOL...transferring over to Wonder in two weeks, which will be just after we give our contractor some $$ to start the next remodel phase.  😄

Are you on the Feb 25th sailing on the Wonder?  I will be on that sailing and if you are sailing too, I will need to keep an eye out for you guys since I have seen many pics of your husband, as I have been following this thread since the start.

  10. I put in minimum bids from JS to four full suite categories for our Adventure cruise next week.  I received email yesterday that we won the bid for an owner suite.  The cruise was showing as sold out for over a month now so I was not expecting to win.  But minimum bids can win.

  11. Loving your review!  We sailed on a Celebrity ship in 2008/2009 over Christmas and New Years from Aukland to Sydney.  Our girls were 11 and 14 although our youngest celebrated her 12th birthday on the ship.  We all have incredible memories and photos from that cruise.  Truly a once in a lifetime experience for us.  Our girls still stay in touch with kids they met from around the world on that cruise.  It is fun to read your reviews and remember our own experiences.  Enjoy New Zealand!

  12. I have number 16 reserved for Wonder cruise the end of February.  I like the pool and my husband prefers the beach so I figured it is close to both.  I have been to Paradise Beach two times but it was before the AI options was available.  I will try to report back on the beach beds since it is our first time reserving one.

  13. I have been following many of the cruisers posting on TikTok as well as here and Instagram.  It is definitely a hot topic on TikTok.  Lots of people commenting who have never cruised, so lots of incorrect information floating around out there.  Very assuming!  But all the cruisers posting seems to be having a great time.  I appreciate everyone taking the time to post so I can live vicariously for now.

We went with #14 on the beach. None of those beach locations look particularly close to the water but we didn't want to sit around the pool. The ones right  by the path (16 and 17) seem to have a slightly better view of the water but my wife was concerned about foot traffic from people going from the beach to the pool area, bar, restroom, etc.

I don't think it's going to be a big deal either way, TBH. Looking forward to your review.

Someone who posts at another forum is going with a large group next month and they have daybeds #14-17 so I'm awaiting her review as well.

I just checked and I have #16 booked so I will definitely let you know how the foot traffic is.  The last time I was there was pre-covid and it was not AI.  The food though was very good.  It will be interesting to see if that has changed since 2019.
