  1. My husband and I were on the Regal Princess in January.  The poker table was “out of order”

    the entire cruise.  Has anyone been on the Regal recently and noticed if the poker table was working?
    My husband told me no poker no Regal so I hope it is up and running.

  2. I am a single woman arriving the day before my cruise at terminal 5.  My plan is to take a National Express bus the following morning. Which hotel would be the easiest to get to for this itinerary?
    I will have two suitcases so looking for simplicity.

Thank you for all the responses.  I learned a lot.  The reason I asked about a kettle was after several Princess cruises I heard from another passenger that you could request a kettle once on board. I requested one on the chat feature  on the app and it was delivered. It was very handy for me as I like HOT coffee as soon as I wake up.  I had a can of Starbucks instant that I had from the land part of our vacation and it was so handy to have a cup in my room first thing in the morning.  I will be on Holland America ship this summer and thought someone on these boards might know if the ship had kettles available.  I wasn’t trying to smuggle one on my own, I am aware of the rules for not bringing them onboard.

    A special thank you to “Inside Cabin” for your suggestion of the travel kettle.  It will come in handy for my coffee in hotel rooms (I have seen some pretty filthy coffee makers in hotel rooms).

    Checked my bill today and saw that my specialty coffees were being charged to my account.  I questioned it at Guest Services and was told,  “There is a glitch in our system, order all the coffees you want, if you come down to our desk we will give you credit for the charges.”  I asked if they anticipated it getting  fixed soon and she said, “No”.  I guess I wait until the last night of the cruise and fight the crowds at the front desk to get my credits.  As for the morning of departure I figure I pay for any coffees ordered. Seems a bit ridiculous, but when I boarded I thought I wouldn’t get to trade mini bar for coffees, so maybe I’m lucky to get what I get.

  5. Sorry to hear that.  I am surprised because mine identified my State (California) not my school or district. 

    Maybe if you resubmit it it will go through (kind of like when you call Princess and agent says one thing and when you call again another agent you get another answer.)

I am currently also on the Ruby and agree with all who have had complaints about this cruise.  This is my 6th cruise since the startup and I think I got spoiled with all the light loads previously.  The crew has been great for the most part.  It seems though that the leadership is weak (just my opinion). Everywhere you go there are long lines and people getting more frustrated and impatient.  I have decided to just sit back, get some great people watching in and not stress.  I will be postponing any future Princess cruises though for awhile.

    The product is weak right now.

I used it April 11, 2022.  I would either call or email Ronald and leave your contact information and cruise dates to him.  He can answer any questions you might have.  I paid online.  He sent me a parking voucher which you need to print out and bring to garage when you come. It was a great experience and very convenient to the cruise terminal, just a couple blocks away.

  8. I am currently on the Ruby and am scheduled to reboard her on the 23rd of April.

    With all the hiccups on this cruise I have decided to cancel that sailing.  I have Princess Platinum insurance.  I know I need to cancel with my travel agent.  My question is how do I get my credit for the cancelled cruise?  Is it automatic, does my travel agent submit request it or do I need to contact someone?
