  1. Same here.... I'm also going with a large group (somewhere around 600-700 I think) but we are a respectful group that also parties. These reports were making me worry too.

On a weird side note.... last year I went on the Carnival Liberty right after that guy jumped overboard, this year I'm going on the Epic right after the lady went overboard.... I'm booked for Epic again Early next March so if your on the boat before that, HOLD ON and don't climb any rails for crying out loud!!

    Everything comes in 3s.

  2. Is price the biggest or only factor in the cruises you guys decide to go on ?

for me it's all about timing.

    with family -

First- it's about when my family can go. Depends on my kids school breaks.

    Then it is the price.

Then it is the port leaving from.

    Then it is the cruiseline.

    with friends -

    what ever is the cheapest.

  3. woohoo. The day after I booked, the price went down $100. I got no perks when i booked... then it is time to give them a call. hehehehe. I'll probably not use a TA. My friends are also thinking of going on a cruise, I think I can get another 7 cabins of friends that would like to go. I read somewhere that a group of 8 cabins, 1 is free.

  4. So you are still able to view your booking from Carnivals website right? Do you print your documents and luggage tags using Carnival just as if you had booked with them?

We are sailing during Spring Break and in my previous experience, there were never any price drops...the prices have always went up, so I imagine that that's something I wouldn't have to worry about for this cruise.

Were you able to use any of your gift cards purchased from Verizon to pay?

Did you receive anything in the mail from this place?

I no when you do a dummy booking, it states that the cruise is non-refundable and can't be canceled. But then when you read up on it on the site, it states cancellations and so on are whatever the cruise line has established. So it's confusing. Not that I plan on canceling or anything, but thought it was weird.

So are you saying that once you book you CAN still use your gift cards (whether it be from Verizon or store bought) to pay for it? They do accept them correct?

I called the TA and they used my gift cards from Verizon and my other Carnival giftcards. Your booking will be on the Carnival website, so I already registered online.

  5. I just saw a post of one of the artists that's going to be there. Looks like nov 14-19 2016. not much info except for the list of artist and date. The flyer doesn't show the cruiseline or port. It does go to montego bay and ocho rios, probably on the Pearl again. Nevermind, I checked NCL, the Pearl is doing an 11 day panama. just gonna have to wait for the info to come out.:)
