We, too, were looking for a comparable product. We chose Scenic. It is hard to compare ocean and river cruise products. They are both good....but different. Scenic is an Australian company, now marketing in North America. Rooms are small, but well appointed, and like Silversea, include a butler. A "real" balcony is included on the majority of rooms. Our main complaint was dining. The food was good, but everyone on board dines at the same time. No tables for 2, and the noise level is very high. Scenic is "all inclusive". The included shore excursions were excellent, and the crew went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Scenic, but it is just not the same as an ocean cruise.

Sailing Capetown to Capetown on 2/7. We have a 10 hour layover at Heathrow. We are looking at Yotel in Terminal 4 for a short stay before our 11 hour flight to Johannesburg. We arrive and depart from Terminal 1. I am assuming we will need to go through Immigration upon arrival and through security after returning to Terminal 1. Has anyone done this? How much time to travel from Terminal 1 and Terminal 4, and how much time should be allowed to transit Security and return to our boarding gate?

Fabulous photos! We are recent Silversea converts (from Regent). We enjoyed the Cloud in March and will be returning in Feb. Can't wait!! (We recognize "our waiters" in you pix.)
