Tours will get off first...so either take a tour ...or get a ticket early . Can depend on how many tours are going ...

How would an employee see the card details unless they gave them over the phone maybe..?

This is why I laugh when people say they wont say on a forum or on a FB cruise group they are about to go away because thieves can target you on line and forget all the staff in a cruise HQ who can see who is away.

I will never know the answer to that one. Credit card fraud departments do not share information. I told them that their security questions were all too obvious so now have agreed a password with them in case I need to phone. I don't use that credit card much now as I felt very angry with the way it happened in the first place and the way it was dealt with.

When Ive spoken with my bank on the phone they ask me my DOB my reply is I know it but you tell me then I know you are who you say you are so we agreed to do half of it each... works well . You can always ask them something only they would know. The lady I spoke to seemed to do this often.

The yield from the shares is currently better than the BS rate of return so four times a year you get dividends... :):):)

We toofind the soda plus card works out better value as we are quite light drinkers of alcohol....we just purchase a measure of drink and the soda element via our package.

You can require a premium specialty tea ie Mint Tea or fruit tea or Twingings English Breakfast tea

Believe me if they had Noro they wouldn't be working I couldn't pick my head off the pillow. I caught it after w visit to a local school where it had done the rounds but they didn't think to inform visitors ( parents knew and teachers )

I noticed on Caribbean princess recently the HC coffee was far nicer then previous years...

So I would say it's improved.

One observation...on p&o the port lecturer is part of shore excursions team so is fully up to date on berths and locations...clearly Ken wasn't ..he said so early on . Which is why he was wrong about berths...Bergen he put up a map saying we would be here..and we weren't ..we had to shuttle in ..exactly where we have berthed before...

Trondheim....there was another ship in the day we were thee this year and seems they got the berth ...and Princess had to tender us in...

My guess is they had hoped to get the berth...

They get told of an alternative berth....

No they don't always..the harbour master ...decides...in Flam it happened on the day , the other ship was ahead of us in the fjords and so got given the berth and it's happens to us in other ports over the years...sometimes the day before..

Often ships arrive to find another has the berth they wanted so tenders get used...last time in Flam that happens to us on the ship we were on..

Back from the same cruise....its outstanding for scenery and to be on deck at midnight in full sunshine...was unique...and a once a lifetime experience....one thing I do wish Princess had marked it by doing something on deck and it was the one time the blinking photography,staff weren't about ! I did get a kind person to snap us together out on deck in the midnight sun.

One observation ...smart casual...many seemed to,be dressed as they had been during the day..hiking boots...cargo trousers and a jumper.

But it didn't detract from the cruise...

Excellent range of entertainment... Well organised ports and tours...

One American passenger said it was better than Alaska.

We have found that Princess are now superior to P&O comparing Azura to Emerald or Crown...I can't speak for the smaller p&o ships as we havnt been on them for a while.

But ....P&O have got cheaper so I feel it's a case of you get what you pay for...

We found princess staff very friendly with a good " can do" attitude...food excellent and far more entertainment around the ship at night than we experienced on Azura.

We've not had a bad p&o cruise....but things have slipped...and we have found Princess to be more like the old P&O we remember.

No you don't have to carry your own mug....some people did....

Mock tails and fresh juice drinks ....just show your cruise card... The sticker they give you on of shows you qualify for the drinks.

No beaker needed.

Soda plus includes fresh juice drinks....as well...really all soft drinks...

Milk shakes from the ice cream parlour...

Coffee card gets you free herb teas and regular tea..unlimited...and un used coffee punches can be used on future cruises.

Fresh espresso coffee ...better than Starbucks...the coffee card is good value as free tea and hot chocolate come with it as we'll.The soda plus card gives you fruit juices and mock tails...and amazing milk shakes . both packages are a good deal .

Supergran... moaning at the girl on the future cruise desk it pointless as she wont have made the rules up.. You should take it up with HQ ..but not the staff.
