  1. probably not what you want to hear, but I'd suggest you stay on the ship. was just there a few weeks ago.... I will never go back to Jamaica again, or if its a port on a cruise I want to take, Ill stay onboard. Very aggressive people not a good day

  2. If you already printed your luggage tags, reprint them and the FTTF logo will appear on your luggage tags and your boarding pass.

  3. My mom and I arrived at the port at 10:30 (PC)... we walked into the terminal... we were directed to our FTTF and VIP line... we only stopped moving to get our Sail and Sign cards... we were on the ship... after dumping our carry ons in our cabin.. sitting on the Lido deck before 11...

    That was fab... then anytime we had a question at customer service, we just walked up, in our "special" line and were never made to wait.

    I never saw less than 10 people waiting in that line....

    IMO.... the best $50 you can ever spend..

     

     

    Sounds AWESOME!!! I can't wait to be all moved into our cabins and then relax on deck! And I do know how long those customer service lines can be and of course I need to go there right away because they mixed people up in our 2 cabins

  4. I think I am leaning towards getting it. Good news, it is still available for my March cruise. Bad news, have to wait to get it. (Christmas is a bad time of the year to be sending extra money!)

    I'm here! Our cruise is in Jan so I'm into MAJOR LC Mode! I have been exercising daily and now I'm thinking of doubling up - for me it's huge for a "normal" person probably not - I do 3 miles on my treadmill so I'm thinking of doing the 3 in the am and 3 in the pm

  6. Yes...you can bring your own underwater camera. There is no pressure to buy the pictures that are taken aboard his catamaran. Also, if you don't want pictures taken, you just politely decline.

     

    There is space to sit on each side of the catamaran. We sat there instead of the tarp as it was pouring out when we went out to Sting Ray City. It is a open air covered area so sun won't be an issue.

     

    At the end, the photographer makes a a quick speech reintroducing Chip, Chip's dad, and himself and stating that they really appreciate us going on the excursion, if we did not want to buy pictures then but decide to later on to email him and tips are appreciated (but not required). You also settle up your bill at the end (we only paid a deposit so we still owed the balance).

    And I found a great lc alternative for hash browns:

     

    take 1/2 C cooked spagetti squash mix with 1 egg and some shredded cheddar cheese

     

    I fry mine with bacon grease and make a patty - it really is like hash browns!!! I salt & pepper with some lc ketchup Yummy!

  8. I checked car rental companies and really Budget and Avis are pretty close rate wise for 2 day rental - which one is closest to the port at port Canaveral? I'm assuming they both just have 1 location in Cape Canaveral so I have the correct one when booking?

    Does anyone prefer one over the other?

    We are flying into Orlando 2 days prior to cruise then would need to rent a car again to get back to airport after cruise.

  9. Has anyone found that while doing atkins they can not drink alcohol? I'm thinking it is setting me back because I seem to be losing and gaining the same weight and just not getting any results - wonder if that could be the reason as my eating is on track.
