  1. John and Kitty Bonner from Memphis, Tennessee are booked on this one. Booked a balcony on Deck 10. First TA on new ship. Will be using Choice Air for flights. Missed the Harmony TA. Heard great things about it. Determined not to miss this one.

Hey there! We are originally from Memphis, and your names sound familiar. I'm 50 now and moved to Austin in 2000. I went to elementary in Millington and high school in Germantown. Lived in Cordova immediately before moving to Austin. Wonder if we know each other? Regardless, look forward to meeting fellow Memphians onboard!
  2. Flowrider was totally overcrowded on the Harmony TA - the line was even 15+ people long - when they had 2 advanced Stand-up open early in the morning.

During the day 30+ people in line was the norm at any time.

Lot longer wait than on any other cruise....

I had heard that there were about 30+ regulars on the Harmony TA. At 2 minutes per person, that's an hour wait - longer for regulars who stay on the wave more than 2 mins. We'll have to look forward to morning advanced and enjoy the ship the rest of the days.

Seems hard to predict these days. Our Liberty OTS last Oct/Nov had very few regulars (like 5 of us, 3 being my crew) and not much interest otherwise. A month later, a friend on the same ship/same voyage said it was overrun with kids and lines were always long.

  3. Thanks for another great live review and your scopes Andrew (and Lisa)! Lots of congratulations in order to you and Owen this week - scoper of the week, BOTB and all the hockey honors!

I was hoping we would book your Fall Harmony cruise, but didn't know when it was until you mentioned it here. We are on B2B Halloween and the week after.

We were disappointed there was no BOTB comp on Liberty a couple of weeks ago :( I did get to watch your winning run scope. You are so smooth and stable! I aspire to that.

Safe travels home and enjoy the holidays. Thanks again!

  4. Sorry to interrupt the live review Chris, but for the benefit of Andrew and maybe a few others I need to post this. I have never been on a cruise where there were no die hard flow riders. It is currently "advanced" session and we aren't up there yet, but there is only one person there. We have only met one other person other than Chris, Dennis (from our crew) and myself who can load himself onto the wave. Hardly a line most of the time for stand up. This is awesome.

Andrew, we are booking our next cruise onboard. Wondering when your Harmony sailing is?

  5. Your trip mirrors mine next month! Same ship, route, hotel, and we are in rooms 7708 and 7408. Looking forward to reading all about your trip. Might you be able to post the cruise compass when you return home? Have a fantastic time.

7408 is in my opinion the best cabin on this ship. We had it in 2007 :). Bring or buy a hammock to tie up on your balcony. We bought one in Cozumel.

  6. Excellent. And how thoughtful of you to be doing my exact itinerary.

If you go in a day or so early, may I recommend:

Gaidos - go hungry, excellent fresh seafood. Been there 100 years for a reason.

Miller's for breakfast. The biscuits alone are worth it.

The Poop Deck - great beach dive bar.

Have a great time - can't wait to follow along.

if you're so inclined, Sabor is excellent for a specialty dining meal.

Chris and I are doing Sabor together!!!!

  7. Hi Andrew! I have watched a couple of your scopes this week but just found (and caught up on) your live review. You may remember me as the girl who scoped the Bellagio Conservatory for you last Christmas. Or the girl who scoped (and rode) flowrider on Allure last November. Or the flowrider addict who scoped the one at Planet Hollywood in Vegas in May.

Thanks for taking us along again. Enjoy your cruise! Still hoping one day we will get the honor/pleasure of cruising and riding with you!

The info on the flowboards that you have given is invaluable. We are considering buying one before our Vegas trip in September, and our Liberty (with Bugsy) for Halloween.
