  1. If you've not visited those places before (including Gran Canaria) my advice would be to skip tours altogether and just spend each day wandering around as a visitor. They'll all accommodate a day's activities, and if you go on a tour you'll miss that.

Personal view only (I hate being herded around in tour buses) but a quick Google will give you an idea as to whether there'll be enough to keep you occupied.

    Thanks all for advice ,

  2. Every time we dock in Santa Cruz Tenerife we get a taxi to Puerto del la Cruz.

They ask €150 but we always get for around €110 and the taxi drops us off for 2-3 hours in Puerto Del La Cruz then takes us back to the ship or Santa Cruz and we pay at the end.

    Loro Parque is popular too.

Is there much to see inPuerto del a Cruz ?

  3. Is it bookable? We’re on Britannia for the first time next month. The Beach House menu looks very good [emoji851]

    It's not bookable on Britanna,we didn't have problem getting a table,just a short wait with a pager.

  4. In the evening and formal if you eat in the MDR, either club or freedom. Smart casual if in buffet and possibly in some of the select dining venues.

Timings change though, from the normal club dining times and I think if you're normally in Freedom dining you have to settle for a choice of one of two set dining times, just for that day.

Thanks,we are booked for freedom but won't mind set dining for Christmas
