  1. Good day,

I have added the laundry for this November 19th sailing. Yes you can send out laundry every day and you get it back the next, but not first thing in the morning, so you need 2 outfits to switch off with. So don't send out your only swimsuit if you need it the next morning.

And it is laundry, not dry cleaning, so no formal wear. But I have sailed on the PG before and they love it if you wear Hawaiian shirts to dinner.

    Cheers

    Todd

  2. I have been on the Prinsendam a few times. Loved the ship and a wonderful crew. The smaller size means less of a gay presence, but there were usually a few on every sailing. Watch the bulletin board near reception for a LGBT meeting early in the cruise.

    Bon Voyage. :-)

  3. My favorite cruises have been the Celebrity Galapagos, the Antarctica with GAdventures and the Istanbul to Egypt on Regent. The first for the wildlife and snorkeling, the second for the amazing vistas and the third for the wine, food and sites. :-)

    Cheers

  4. Thanks for the update, mrsm88. We aren't the nitpicking type, so we won't be looking for things to complain about. Poor AC or malfunction is a worry though. The schedule of cruises for the Silver Galapagos shows that there are none on Apr 26 and May 17. The ship might be chartered those weeks or hopefully laid up for repairs and upgrading. Let us hope! Do you think that the stomach problems were from food on the ship or from the prior tours?

findacruise - We're flying Miami to Quito on American 939 on June 5th, but not going on to another tour afterwards.

Sorry JoeK, the 26th of April is a Charter from Canada with a medical conference on board. :-)

  5. Just was on the Brilliance of the Seas out of Dubai for March 22nd to 29th. Was in the Royal Family Suite with three friends and thought it was amazing. We got room number 7672 on deck 7 and it was huge. Pictures attached. The suite also gave us concierge access, with Ivan our concierge being great. And a bunch of other perks.

The suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the balcony is smaller then the brochure would indicate, but the suite is huge feeling.

Hope this is of help to people, I expect that suites 9656 and 8668 are similar.
