You must call to book it and they will do the Comp dining reservations for you!

Check out Walgreens, they seem to have more slots open with reservations you can set up in advance. Good luck!

We just used this kit on the Mardi Gras in November. I bought the 2 pack but only needed 1 test for me and wife. following the instructions on the kit, you must create an account for each person, two separate APPs. When you are done you sign out and then you start all over with the next person. Good luck.

Does anyone know if the pinnacle Resteraunt is open on the Koningsdam, on sail away night?

While in Cuba, did your partake of the awesome Cuban Sandwich?

 

What place in Havana (or the other POCs was it at) and how awesome was it? Would you go back again to that establishment and/or recommend it?

 

Was it better than what you could get in Miami and/or better than what you're cruise ship offered?

Just one example: NCL wants $329 for a 3 1/2 hour tour in a classic car and $125 for a 3 hour walking tour, so $454 pp for the two. I have a private tour booked that includes a 3 hour walking tour and a 3 hour tour in a classic car. It is $130 TOTAL for 4 people (we are sharing our tour with another couple), or $33 pp. We will spend $66 for our tour which is almost identical to the NCL tours, which would cost the two of us $908.

I booked a 2 day private tour, so I will just let them know I can't guarantee the time and I am sure they will be flexible. The tour I booked, after much research (I am retired), was saving more than $50.00 p/p, that's for sure! I was able to pick everything I wanted to see and do. (walking tour, Classic Convertible Car tour, Jazz Club, Hemingway's former residence and farm to table experience). I have booked private tours all over the world, with much success. :cool:

Looking so forward to seeing Cuba and because the ship wasn't filling up enough I got a great price. I only booked this cruise a little more than a month ago. :D So all information is appreciated.

To all you Empress cruisers who are book to Cuba, the new info regarding the repositioning between her and the Majesty of the Sea, the information has been posted. If you check your booking # on the RCL site, you should be able to see your new cabin #. Hope you get a more favorable location than we did. We wound up on deck #2? Since our booking was through an agency, we had to cancel it outright and start over. I switched agencies and re-booked getting exactly what I wanted. We are so looking forward to visiting Cuba and our first cruise with RCL. Good luck!

DW and I did the Rotterdam from San Diego to The French Polynesia in March, 2010 and made loads of new friends from around the world through Cruise Critic. Though we had a two seat table for dinner, we shared breakfast and lunch. We still communicate with them to this day and hope to cruise with them again in the near future.:)
