We went to Anthem and suite restaurant had no comparisons with X (boring food, never changed lunch items..), and Michaels club way MUCH better that suite lounge on RCL. Plus very big number of Pinnacles  pulled much stuff attention from suite guest.

No butler, one suite manager who wasn't paying to much attention...

We had decided that we would be better off on Celebrity.

This is correct! We never had reservation for Luminae or Blu

You will be Elite on Celebrity... If Celebrity Zenith would be sailing on RCL, he/she will be Diamond.

Current 10/12/19 sailing: the departure from Venice was delayed by Port master from 5 pm till 10 pm. Muster had held @ 4:30 pm, and nobody allowed to leave the ship for Venice walk after the muster drill...

As a result, Kotor port stop (cruisers were looking forward to Kotor) was really short and there were no any tours/excursions possible except 1.5 hour walking tour , the ship arrival changed from 12 pm till 5 pm (real arrival @ 5:45 pm).

Athens is the highlight of the trip for many and a noon arrival limits the options to get to Athens which is often at least an hour by coach.

RCCL will loose money on cancelled Kotor excursions. Kotor's stop is completely ruined with arriving at 5 pm on Sunday.

We wish they would make additional excursions in Venice and stay Venice overnight  instead of Kotor.

Question for recent cruisers: What time cabins will be available for passengers after turn over on arrival day after check in?

We are sailing on Rhapsody OTS from Venice.

We actually left a lot earlier than the changed time of departure, which wouldn’t have happened if guests weren’t on the ship

Rhapsody OTS Oct 12th departure is extended till 9:45 PM and I had read that now it's happening quite often.

Question for previous cruisers: would cruise line provide paid transfer from port to St Marco (we had it while on Celebrity)?

We want  to explore Venice in our own and to advantage of this situation. We aware of vaporetto option but i prefer water RCCL transfer.

We used RomeCabs multiple times. They great, can't praise them more. Usually we found fellow cruisers on Roll Call to share the transfer/cost with.

RomeCabs.   We used them several times with great results..

Could be 57th Street Manhattan port, i had seen Celebrity ships docked there after Atlantic crossing 

you can dine in Coastal Kitchen (upon availability...)

It's been a long time since we docked in Manhattan. I need to pick up friends from NCL Escape cruise.

Where I can pick them up: from the same place I dropped them by terminal or from across of West Side highway?

So you are saying the tax is specific to this region and is applied on other cruise lines now as well? We did Baltic cruise this June and there was no tax.

You prob stop in Russia or Norway - they not part of EU.

Yes, just taxi to hotel when you land. We stayed at Arc Las Rambles, right at the bottom end of Las Ramblas, and fairly close to the port.

My parents took by mistake old passports with the hole instead of new. Concierge had keys from the apartment and he faxed the copy of the passports, it was enough to get to the ship.

I did my online check in for our March cruise and lo and behold, now you’re asked for a photo.

I am only semi-literate on the computer.

I know I can wait till check in to get photos taken, but I’d love to be 21st century.

I've stayed on 7, 8, 9, and 10 and loved them all, especially the junior suites on the hump. Around the corner from the elevators but heard no noise due to the wall in between.
