Hi.   On this cruise can we rent a scooter?  is there a company we should contact in Australia?

  My husband contracted Scoot Around which we use when cruising 

 He was informed they do not scooters for one way cruises (Australia to United States).

Any suggestion for good travel insurance from USA. We are planning a transpacific cruise for end of 2019. We did book it some months ago. I forgot about travel insurance when we booked the cruise

What happens when one doesn’t do the pre boarding process on line or it’s incomplete? If cash account is selected can I change it to credit card at guest services? What is the amount that is but on hold on the credit card? I prepay tips only charge will be what I purchase on ship

How long does it take to release funds not used? My DH takes care of this . This year I will also be sailing on a all girls cruise

If one of your cruise perks is free laundry

Sometime during the cruise I’m on I will put a couple of paper laundry bags and laundry slips in my luggage for my next cruise. As sometimes there not either the bag or laundry slip in the cabin. during the first day I have my travel clothes

ready to send out to be clean

The Splendor has the Cloud 9 spa with the thermal suites. The Thelasso therapy pool is like a jacuzzi except it’s much bigger with mineral water and built in loungers. You will love it! And definitely try out the heated marble loungers. There’s also the steam rooms and saunas to relax in too. The spa rooms have upgraded decor, spa samples in the bathroom, upgraded robe, upgraded slippers, and big fluffy gold beach towel. Your DH did good!:D

I think my DH. Booked a spa ocean view cabin on the Splendor. Category is 6s ocean view On deck ten

What is spa amenities like on the Splendor ? Is there a large pool in the spa area?

You can order room service the first day and keep the tray instead of purchasing one.

You are correct. The trays from room service on the ships I have been on are Heavy. The one I saw and purchase is lightweight. Mine cost approximately $3.00.

On our last cruise a passenger brought a small plastic cafe tray. Which help bringing food to table. When I inquired he said it fits in bottom of suitcase and takes up very little room

I found one at Chef Store

I’m sure there’s variety of sizes and colors at restaurant supply or IKEA. Also not expensive

The. Three part folded deck plans card. I wish the picture of the ship that deck plan was for was on the front of the card

I have all deck plan cards of our previous sailing with the photo and name of the ship on front cover

Now for saving money I guess one side is the same on all ships and the deck plan is on the the reverse side

I read it be a good idea to bring a note signed by mom & dad that i have their permission

I should have a medical power of attorney, just in case.
