First of all, that's the most complete, most professional looking review I've ever seen! Great job! My question is the game mentioned "Liberty Code". Anyone have nay details? I started a couple of threads asking for answers about "The Code"; no replies yet.
The Liberty code was fun .... do not play with someone who's extremely competitive !!!

can't seem to get jen's cruise review by clicking on that link???
Thank you for trying to read my review.
I wonder why the link didn't work?

Maybe the home page will work, then navigate to the cruise reviews, then Liberty review :)

This is a great packing list.
TANZYRAGWEED, Hopefully you can go to http://www.adobe.com and get the adobe reader, so you can read .pdf files.
I've attached the packing list in a pdf format for you to read. The formatting is worth it.

I have them, but they're from September 07. You're more than welcome to them. Just go to my signature link.

Aww thank you Katie!!!
We're getting more excited about James every day. He'll be here before I know it! Oh there's still so much to do!
I may very well have posted the menus and they're not the same menus that are currently in use. A lot of time has passed since last september, and with all the nagging from the CC group, they might have changed them up. So if someone who has sailed more recently posts menus, please go by that menu instead.
The ship itself, however, I'm sure has not changed, so feel free to poke around at our Liberty photo albums. We had a great time and the ship is lovely!

Thank you :)

While my compass pages are from last September, I do have the chops and Portofino menus. Just follow the link in my signature, or click here http://community.webshots.com/user/lephysteria

lephysteria, when is the little one due or have they arrived?
Nope, he's still baking away and happy as a skunk :)
He's due 8/15, but measures about 2 weeks ahead of schedule, so I'm thinking the end of July, but I'll keep all my cruising fans posted :D
Here are his 3d ultrasound pictures http://www.jenscruisereviews.com/us/uspics.pdf He's a spitting image of his father ;)

lephysteria - I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful trip report. It was so informative and helpful! We are thinking of staying at the Hyatt Regency the night before the cruise. I would like to rent a car and drive down so that I don't have to pay for parking at the port but I am having the hardest time trying to do a one way rental with enterprise!!
Thanks again!
You're welcome :)
If you have any questions, just lemme know.

In our bathroom it was just the one plug for shavers.
But if you wanted the hair dryer plug, you had to go to the vanity. We did bring a polarized adapter because i needed the curling iron and the hair dryer at the same time.
A power strip could also be used there on the vanity. One plug is not enough :)

One person can be the ticket getter for the family for the ice show. Or your consierge can get this for you too.
Then when the ice show is scheduled, the doors open 30-45 min before the show starts, I'd get there when the doors open to get a good seat. You don't have to sit in a certain section according to the ticket, its not like a concert. Its more like a "general admission" and you sit where you can.
Its cold in there, so take your jacket.
And they say no saving of seats, but if your DH has to go to the bathroom, yes you can save his seat. ;)

An aside: I can't help but laugh at your location. Mostly because of our climate our real estate prices here in So Cal actually keep going up! (I'm a real estate broker).
Its called the Sunshine Tax. And I wish it would just stop !!! ;)

On our Luni cruise last September, they did weigh the groups, and one guy was 203. The limit that day was lowered to 200. He was not allowed to zip. He did get his money back from the shore excursion desk.

LOL @ momofshan. That was cute :)
This time of year, Target and Walmart do have great deals on all things summertime! Don't forget your inflatable raft !
-
-
If you don't get the water shoes, thongs work well too. But if you're going in the water, there are sharp rocks at the bottom of the water too. So even going in to wade around, you'll need to protect your feet .... or get really good at saying bad words under your breath!
-
Thanks for that suggestion. That's a good thing to know!
I sure wish someone would have told me on my first trip to Labadee (sept 2001 on the explorer)
-
-
Make sure you bring your water shoes. The island is covered in coral. Walking on the sand is very hard to do, the rocks everywhere are sharp.
-
All of those sound perfect !!!
You can also go to your local Walgreens/Walmart/Target type store and get the inflatable rafts (leave them uninflated at first, just pack them like they come from the store). Then when you get to your labadee beach you can inflate the raft. And it costs a fraction of what normal rafts cost to rent there :)

Oh yes, I know that feeling. You're totally useless at work, and trying to imagine how awesome your cruise is going to be :)
Have a pool bar drink for me!

Erica, you're going to have a great time. What activities have you planned for your itinerary? I'm so jealous, wish I could go!
