I was able to reprice our cruise on 9th February, still waiting for the promised refund to appear. Our TA is getting no where and we sail next week.

Does anyone know if drinks are included in the Retreat Deck for suite guests (without additional beverage package) , same as they are in the Retreat Lounge ?

I emailed Captains Club in the US who replied today and have confirmed that the in suite ‘amenities’ for royal and penthouse WILL apply to our booking if we are successful as these are not Perks but already come with the suite.

They have also stated that a refund for the beverage package is no problem and if successful in the move up bid I am to ring them directly and they will process the refund. 

Just fabulous customer service. 

Made that bid- now all I can do is wait... and hope! We will have an amazing cruise in the sky suite (our first ever suite with Celebrity) but that Royal suite looks just amazing! 💕

Hi, we have just received a move up bid for our May Summit cruise. We have booked a sky suite through a TA with no perks attached.

After booking I have added the premium beverage package to our booking during a beverage package promo directly with Celebrity.

My question to my Travel Agent was:

If I make a move up bid to a royal suite which as I understand already includes 2 premium beverage packages, and am successful,  will Celebrity reimburse me for the already purchased premium beverage packages? 

The answer was this:

I spoke with Celebrity and she confirmed that since you booked a suite with no perks for a lower rate, if you bid for an upgrade and receive it, you still would not receive any of their perks.  She stated that in the terms and conditions of the bid, your booking remains as is, whether it was booked with or without perks, if your bid is accepted.

I was sure that the Royal and Penthouse Suites automatically came with these added extra benefits: beverage package, wifi, speciality dining? 

I wonder if this is a case of phone again, get a different rep and get a different answer...

Arriving into San Francisco from the UK one year at immigration I was asked "is this really you?"

My passport was on the old side and the picture was a much younger me. My husband, ever the comic said "she looked like that when she got on the plane!"[emoji57]

Thank you for your great review! We love Celebrity but have been lured by the price and the amazing reviews of the Yacht Club on MSC, MSC status match was a happy plus. We are cruising on the Fantasia in March, however we wish that our itinerary included Muscat, we are struggling with what to do in Bahrain and Qatar[emoji57] but so looking forward to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, your pictures are fantastic[emoji4]

After not cruising for a while, yesterday we booked a Christmas and New Year cruise departing Hong Kong on the Millennium. We've only ever been on Solstice class before but have always enjoyed our cruises with Celebrity - though have noticed the cut backs.

Now I've read the absolutely dreadful reviews about the Millennium I'm wondering what on earth I've done! Apparently this ship will be decommissioned in 2018 so we may be on one of the last few cruises on her before she leaves Celebrity. If anyone from Celebrity reads the same reviews I have they would decommission her now!

On a side note, I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Stavanger on a cruise stop - it can be done and is so worth it!

Hi, just thought I'd let you know that I'm sitting on the ferry with aching feet after making it up Pulpit Rock!

Really pleased that we've done it, everything worked, though we had to run for the 9:20 ferry this morning with about 10 crew members that were doing the climb too.

It was seriously windy up there but amazing and a little scary!

I've read there is no public bus after August 31st - looks like we will have to rely on the ' Glacier Express' - fingers crossed they are there!

How easy is it to get to ferry from the cruise port? I've read that you buy the tickets for ferry and bus return on-board the ferry?

Weather conditions must make a huge difference to the hike also- so we will be taking note of forecasts of our day in Stavenger.

We are hoping that our cruise ship may arrive early in Stavenger- of course I don't know if this happens but we can be ready to head for the earlier ferry if at all possible and also to forget the hike if we miss the 9.20 ferry.

Petra- if you still have the telephone number of the taxi firm that would be great to have and thank you for the ferry timetables and your help[emoji106]🏻

Stavenger is our last port of call so if we miss the ship it can't be that hard to get back to England!!![emoji6]

Hi, myself and my husband would love to do this hike, we are in Stavanger at the start of September on a week day but our cruise ship times are 9am arrival leaving at 5pm. I've looked at the ferry times and there is one at 9:20 arriving at the beginning of the hike by 10:30. Is this doable at all do you think or simply too tight for time? We are both reasonably fit but I'm worried we'll be on the ferry watching our cruise ship leave! It's a shame that our cruise line doesn't offer this as a tour.

P. S. for Esk. Just as a matter of interest, did the port times match those on cruisett albeit the ports were in a different order? Of course changing the order could affect things with overnight timings on different legs changing.

Hi, thanks for your help- I had a look, Cruisett still have the old itinerary and all the port times have changed. We usually find this website very helpful especially with P&O's secretive approach to port times!

Thanks everyone for the input, I phoned P&O as suggested and they gave me the times straight away, I didn't have to wait on hold for ages either[emoji106]

I asked them why they didn't put the itinerary details on their website and they said incase of changes such as this.

This will be my 2nd cruise with P&O and now both times they have switched ports round and on my last cruise with them missed a port out.

I've never experienced this with Celebrity or other cruise lines and get the feeling by reading the forum that this is a common occurrence.

Hi, we are shortly leaving on 29th August Britannia cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. P&O have swapped all the ports around, how do I find out the arrival/departure times for the updated itinerary? P&O don't state precise timings and haven't responded to my email. I have checked with websites like cruisett and the different port websites but they don't have the updated itinerary either- very annoying when trying to plan our own trips. Any thoughts? Hi rbuenger, glad you had a great cruise, we are on the Silhouette soon and also looking forward to Aqua class and dining in Blu. Who is the current Maître 'D of Blu? I think it was Anna when we were last on her and she was fantastic.

I think everyone is different --- we were glad we cancelled --- we are sure that for some people it saves a fortune! Must admit. if we'd kept the package I think we would have felt pressurised to drink more to make sure we got our money's worth !!!

I can't wait to feel pressurized!! Looking forward to our premium package on Silhouette:D
