We love the formal nights.  Gives us a chance to dress up.  It is so fun to see the changes in my granddaughter as she grows into a young lady.  Choice of long dresses is fun to see.  If they don't have formal night anymore it will be sad for us.

We loved them when my daughter was growing up, it truly taught her some great life lessons. Learning table etiquette and decorum is great for youth.

Except they don't call it Formal Night anymore.  It's something like "wear your best" night or something of the likes.  In other words, no tux or long gown needed.

Thank you! This is what I was hoping for, getting to old to drag around long gowns😂

We were in 6145, next to the PH, true larger than most SS's and we had literally more storage space than we could use.  Only one closet of hanging space, but there were drawers and shelves everywhere.

And the sofa was very comfortable.  There was no other chair in the room except the desk chair, which we never used.  We had two white leather stool/table type things which you could also sit on.

Where in the cabin are the drawers? The night stands don’t appear to have a very big drawer and the area by the vanity looks to just be a shelf/bench.

Did they serve the menu as posted?

    Where was it held?

Was it a fun event with good company, and excellent food/ service.?

    Thanks for the info...

The menu was served as posted. It was held in a side room of Murano (after the galley tour). We had a good group of folks and enjoyed the evening. However they do need to be more clear about the pricing.

  5. We just got off Equinox and did the chef’s table. The menu was the one pictured and the food was amazing.  However there was a lot of confusion on price, we were told $199 (including wine) a person and given a receipt with that amount when we booked but later charged split in two separate charges totaling $224 a person. When we asked we were told wine pairing was separate charge and then later told gratuity added in. We were not given anything to sign that night. They ended up refunding us $12 a person. It was really a head scratcher on the pricing and they need to make it clear. Also FYI the cookbook is very heavy so keep that in mind when packing.

Overall while it was a great experience I would not pay that much again.

  6. The picture above is the current Equinox sky suite balcony setup. We asked for footstools but there was no more available (or so we were told) The new chairs were really uncomfortable and the table was rough. We were in 1248 last year and then again last week. Lovely aft balcony but the new furniture limited our time out there because it was not comfortable.

  7. Since they are so elusive I will write a review. We are staying in the Presidential Family Suite and there are 8 of us.

Looking forward to your review on Harmony Genie service. We are on her in May (room 1722).

I do have one question I was looking at the review linked on the previous page and it showed the available liquor list. It is stated on there premium selections at reduced costs. I was under the impression that the Star class came with the top drink package, is that not the case?

  8. I love Navigator, great crew and wonderful ship with the dry dock additions.

Try Sabor and Giovanni's they are great. The R bar is really good for drinks.

The ice show is one of the best I've seen on RCL. (Love the one on Freedom)

During the day Viking crown is quiet with wonderful views. The Solarium is very nice by the windows for relaxing.

Love the promenade the Pub is a lot of fun and good bar staff.
