Just wondering if its ok to drink the water on board the ship or should we stick to bottled water all the time?

Hello everyone. We're booked on the 24th June cruise from Singapore. Just wondering if anyone knows which pier Gemini docks in Phuket? I heard that during the wet season the tender boats are not used and the ship docks in port. We intend doing an independently booked trip to Phi Phi and need to know where to tell the tour operator to pick us up. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
