I am looking to sail on the Pride of America/Hawaii and am trying to find better information on balcony plans. No matter which one you choose, balcony, large balcony, family balcony, when you click on NCL it has the same photo and floor plan. Can anyone describe or show photos of the differences if they are visible?

Is the difference between 'balcony' and 'large balcony' (or family as well) the size of the balcon itself? The square-footage difference is 60 extra ft on the large, it says.

Are there any balconies that do not have the tight, claustrophobic balcony walls separating the neighbor balconies? In otherwords, are there any rooms where the outside balcony is one long open balcony that neighboring rooms all share?

I found the bow area was the darkest area on the ship - with no lights at all - on the Norwegian Dream last year. I was able to do some stargazing and photograph the sky.
