We will be at the cruise port in Dublin in August and need to get to Suffolk Street to meet a tour in a timely manner. What is the best way to pre arrange transportation so we won't be late. We read from some posts that the port is crazy busy and no buses or cabs are actually allowed in the port to take. How do we arrange to get to the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street so we won't be late?

Which Ireland port is closest to take a day trip to Cahir Castle and Rock of Cashel? We will be docking in Waterford, Cork and Dublin
Our cruise ship does not offer this excursion. Would you kindly recommend a day tour company. Thank you.

What are your favorite places to visit in Dublin/private tour companies and especially favorite medieval castles
(which my husband wants to see) A friend told me that Blarney castle is too touristy and crowded. Want to book
excursions.

I've never stayed in an inside cabin before. Always loved aft balconies but too pricey for this trip. Has anyone stayed in 1671?
Comments? It seems to be all alone. We didn't want to be near elevators but my husband is curious what is adjacent to this room.
Is it a decent cabin? Can't figure out how to search for a specific cabin.

I was randomly assigned E1/7662 Does anyone know if this room has any cons to it ... don't know anything about criteria in selecting a room.
It's just my husband and I .... the representative said that it's a balcony room ... that could sleep 3-4 ... and is oversized.... thought we were lucky to get it... now I want to be sure he didn't give it to us because of the things posters here have mentioned ...like under a pool or club etc.
Does anyone know if this room is okay??? I'm getting nervous as to why it was available on a last minute booking.
How to get from cruise port to Dublin center Please help!!

I am concerned about one full day excursion we booked in Dublin. They will not pick up at port. We must meet them very early at 7:45 a.m. at the "Molly Malone statue outside the Old Stone Church on Suffolk Street" At the time I booked it, I had no idea that it was a commercial port and cabs aren't accessible at the ship. My husband has some difficulty walking distances. The company explained it's possible to take buses but would involve changing buses twice and still doing a great deal of walking. Has anyone been to the Dublin port on this board and could you tell me how to get to this location in a timely manner ... or will it be impossible to meet a tour this early trying to arrange transportation. Would so appreciate any help with our concerns.
