For ships getting into port after 1pm, do the mini busses continue to operate from the ship to the beach? Is the last bus back from beach still around 6:30pm?  Are they still in Zone 5 in the pickup area?

No.

so we still have good ocean views while on the treadmills? ;-)

The new cabins replaced the jogging track and open deck area that went all the way around the front of the ship.

is the fitness area affected by the drydock changes?

I myself, have never seen one there, but that doesn't mean it's not allowed. Good question!

I am going to do the same thing on April cruise. I am not concerned about the public beaches but the private islands may be a different story. I have a pretty good arrangement: use camping chairs with inflatable cushions and the beach tent/cabana with sand anchors. All I need is good weather and a bottle of water!

Thank you for posting! Finally some beer variety on a cruise! We sail on the Silhouette next September. I plan on trying some wine and beer. I thought it was funny that they have a beer from NC on the list ;-)
