On our roll call we have over 125 people sign up for the meet and greet. The Magic 12/10/16 sailing. About 20 showed up. Carnival provided the venue on the first sea day, no snacks or even water was offered which is a good thing since a lot of it would have been wasted. However, a couple carnival reps and the CD Schwartz stopped by and we each got a free group photo.
I won't be signing up for anymore. It was nice but a little embarrassing too.

We had a cruise critic meet and mingle on the Magic Dec 10th on the 1st sea day. We had over 125 people sign up and only about 20 people showed up. There were no snacks or anything provided but a couple carnival magic reps and the cruise director showed up. They took our photo and gave us each a photo.

29 days this year. Conquest, Elation, Valor, Elation, and Magic. :)
-
I remember when we were switched from the Liberty to the Valor which at the time didn't have 2.0 upgrades. We paid more money and switched to the Sunshine. I have since sailed on the Valor 3 times and love it!

my edocs has a section about pregnancies
The entire right page is regarding pregnancies now.

I just got off the Elation on Monday. The health forms that we printed off the computer were no good. We had to complete new forms that were given out at the port. It now has a section asking about pregnancies.

Wow! When the Dream broke down in St. Thomas a few years ago, we were booked on the cruise the following week and we were notified of the cancellation a day before we were to leave. All we got was a refund and 25% of our next cruise. LOL!

At the very least depends upon when they get electricity restored' date=' apparently week away.[/quote']
Just got an email. Our itinerary on the Elation next week changed to an overnight in Nassau. I'm okay with that. I'll be on a cruise and not at work!

7 days and I still don't have a cabin assignment.
-
Has anyone heard when the ships will start docking back in Freeport?
-
I'm platinum and I don't even think it's a good non-paying perk. If you're first on the tender, you still have to sit there until the darn thing fills up and that could take a while. So, no I don't think it's worth the extra money.
-
Just because something is free doesn't mean a person has to like it.
-
I just booked a balcony guarantee and got my assigned cabin. It's in the front of the ship and I'm a midship kinda gal but oh well, no biggie.

I once purchased a $100 gift card from Cherry on Top on a carnival ship (can't remember which one it was) for a Christmas gift for my son. He went to use it to pay on his bill at Guest Services and the card was empty. Apparently, the person didn't do the transaction correctly.
I had to call Carnival guest solutions after the cruise. They were going to mail me a refund and I asked if they could just add it to on board credit for my next cruise and they were happy to do so.
When I purchase cards from Kroger I call Carnival with the card number and make sure the money is loaded onto the card.

I never pre-pay auto or any tips and I have always received great service.
I will say to those of you who remove your auto tips if I would you I would probably carry my toothbrush with me where ever I went.

I went to the serenity deck party on the Conquest in March. We had soooooo much fun! We left around 4 am and it was still going strong! The DJ was awesome and the bar was open.

So, if some of you don't see your room steward frequently but the beds are made, the towels/washcloths are new each day and your towel animal is waiting for your return each evening, you feel as though he/she has not done a good job?
-
There are always 3 of us in a cabin who are platinum and we only get 1 plate of those freakish looking strawberries. I'm not complaining, just making a statement to the thread. lol
-
I don't rush or cut the lines to the tenders anymore. If you get in front of the line and board the tender ahead of the other people you still have to wait until it fills up before leaving anyway.
Now, having tenders specifically for platinum/diamonds would be a great perk.

I am doing a back to back on the Fascination in December to say goodbye since they are moving her! It will be my 13th and 14th time on her out of 25 cruises! I love the Fascination and will miss her when she leaves. The Fascination is a great ship!
-
I too am anxious to hear news about this. I'm doing a b2b in December.
-
My vote is definitely the Fascination. As you can see below, I've sailed on the Fascination several times and planning to again in December!
-
I've sailed on the Fascination 11 times. It's a quick drive and an inexpensive last minute vacation. I'll sail again once she comes out of Drydock in March. :D

Whatever. I think others and you knew what I meant.
If you cruised on the Victory last week (pertaining to the man overboard) PLEASE READ

Since Carnival offered a 20% discount on a future cruise, why don't they just give the guest back 20% back on the current cruise fare?
