Someone posted it depends on which side the door is. If that is true the bed will be next to the balcony. Our door was on the other side and the sofa was next to the balcony.

thank you, this is really helpful 👍

I believe 12411 has the bed by the balcony. Personally I like the bed by the wardrobes although that configuration does make the space tight to get into the wardrobe. That said we like the settee to be next to the balcony so we can sit on it and gaze outside.

Not sure what you mean by this, I think all balcony cabins have a sofa which can turn into a bed, so basically the only choice is whether you would prefer the bed to by the balcony or not.

Thank you so much 👍. Yes, I really want the sofa by the balcony, much better layout in my opinion.

P&O told me that only the cabins marked * have a sofa bed and the ones marked with a square have the sofa bed and Pullman bed.  They’ve since confirmed that the other rooms have a sofa (not a sofa bed).  So long as I have a sofa of some kind to sit on and look out at the view, then I’m happy 😂

Having sailed on Iona, if the door to the cabins is on the left, the sofa is next to the wardrobes and the bed by the balcony. My mother had the cabin next door to us, with the door on the right so the layout was the other way round, sofa near the balcony and bed near the wardrobe.

Hi, sorry if I sound daft, but do you mean the door is on the left when you are in the cabin, or when you look at the cabin entrance from the corridor? I’m guessing you mean from the corridor? So If I look at two adjacent cabins with the doors next to each other, such as Iona 12.409 and 12.411 then 409 has the bed near the wardrobe and in 411it’s near the balcony?  thank you so much 👍

  4. We are looking to book our first P&O cruise on the Iona for June/July next year to the Norwegian Fjords.  We are looking at a standard balcony cabin, and in particular cabin 12.411.  Please can anyone tell me if the 411 cabins have the bed next to the balcony or the sofa/sofa bed?  I asked P&O but they can’t tell me and the photos on their website show both configurations.  Also, there are only two of us, so is booking a cabin with a sofa bed a mistake?  We’re just trying get a slightly bigger balcony if possible, which is the main reason for choosing this cabin.  We have the cabin on hold until about 6pm this evening (UK time).  I’ ve tried googling but without success,

    Thank you 🤞

Yes. All fountain drinks are included in the Beverage package. And NCL has switched to Coke products, exclusively.

Exclusions: Does not include Wine and Spirit Experiences, tastings or flights, Starbucks, Ice Bars, room service, package sales, bottled water, ship specific promotions, Connoisseur Collection beverages, bottled wine, mini bar purchases, fresh squeezed juices, wine dispenser, energy drinks or vending machines.

    Thank you so much.

You can't get bottles /boxes of water free. If you want soda from the beverage 'gun' at any of the bars, that will not incur an extra charge.  Given how much I get through on a cruise that's a much better deal than $5.50 per bottle of San Pellegrino.

Hi, we have Free at Sea, but not the soda package.  Does this mean I can get coke/pepsi or maybe Fanta from the 'gun' included in my Free at Sea?  I won't want any alcohol with it, I'm teetotal 😊  Thank you
