Thanks all. I guess we will just stay put. There are no other balconies left and I don't want to be far from them anyway. We already have 2 balconies booked, traveling with 8 people total.

We will make it work. Just going to be tight with all the stuff my 19yr old daughter is planning on packing. Going to have to talk to her!

Aft wrap on 4 has a separate bedroom but IIRC it only sleeps four.

How about two balconies?

We are booked in a balcony on the Pride and are thinking of upgrading to a suite. Does anyone know if the suite has a private bedroom? I can't tell from the pictures I see online.

We are traveling with kids and looking to see if we can get a separate bedroom setup.

Chocolate buffet is on the last day.

Thank you, couldn't remember if Carnival had one.

On 7 night cruises there are 2 "elegant" nights.

Carnival's requirements are not particularly formal.

You can dress up as much or as little as you wish.

The only real requirement is that men wear slacks and a shirt with a collar.

Usually the chocolate buffet is at lunch on the last sea day(in my experience).

With a party of 8, you may have a difficult time with MTD. Getting a table for 8 available can create a somewhat long wait for you and your party. That they do make pretty clear in some of the emails. You should have been receiving almost weekly emails saying to book your my time dining reservations now. That is what is causing the sort of panic. You may want to go into your reservation and see if you can make the MTD reservations for your party. If this is an artificial panic then you only spent a few minutes for peace of mind but at least you will have a time that you can arrive to eat and not have to wait very long.

 

These advanced reservations are perfect for the larger parties such as yours and I am sure help the ship staff prepare accordingly.

Yes I know, but people are saying they are having trouble with the MTD, they are encouraging you to book online before the cruise.

I am confused now. We prepaid our tips and were told that this allowed us to eat whenever we want. I did not know we could book online. We were never told that.

Can someone fill me in? We are travelling with kids and want the option to decide each day when to eat since you never know what time everyone will be hungry (there are 8 of us).

Just be careful with the balance transfers. I just got an NCL Mastercard and they wouldn't give me 0% balance transfers. I got 3% on balance transfers with a minimum of $50 fee. I have excellent credit and really pushed for the 0% interest as I have never had a problem getting it from other cards I applied for, but they wouldn't budge.

Also, in genereal I pay all of my bills of every month. This should be fine right? I didn't think to ask if the charges had to stay on the card for a specified time to receive the rewards.

OK so here's one, not great, but it's all I've got!

On my 1st cruise we took Princess to Bermuda. It was a small ship (600 passengers) so we got to know the crew very well and they were all amazingly nice! We spent a lot of time speaking with this one guy (can't remember his name). He was from Argentina and we would talk to him a lot because my father is also from Argentina, comparing histories, etc. He was one of the officers on the ship so he gave us a lot of info.

OK so he's telling us all about his wife and kids back home and how much he misses them, etc. We're thinking "oh how hard it must be for him!" OK~ NOT!!! We go to the beach in St. George and who is there?? Our Argentinian friend but um, what is he doing making out with that blond on the beach?? He didn't say his wife was meeting up with him in Bermuda! :eek:

I learned quickly how these guys get along so well without their wives!
