Curious how the bidding process works. My husband and I are booked for a TA next year in a Prime Infinite Balcony. If you're given the option to upgrade, is it only to the next available level up?
As someone else said --- you will see available categories above where you are currently booked - I saw Sky Suite as well as 3 or 4 other higher level suites

I have the exact same situation and I am on your same sailing. Curious if others are in the same boat? Can anyone on this cruise still modify a bid?
UPDATE: I just got the move up awarded so hopefully your upgrade is coming soon!
what did you bid?

Congratulations @jpsykes!! Yes we are on the same cruise. We are in a Concierge currently and bid on Sky Suite, Was your bid at any time showing pending and you couldn't change it?
We also went from Concierge to Sky Suite - bid was $855 (each) - we are Elite so got that slight bump percentage. Showed pending but I never tried to change it and never saw it in 'locked' status.

Are you referring to the April 8th cruise on Apex?
I'm on that cruise and was notified 2 days ago (the 15th) that our bid from Concierge to Sky Suite was accepted.
What cabin type are you bidding on and what are you currently in?- 1

Same situation here! We took the elevator twice in the ten days otherwise stairs every. single. time…can’t imagine how much we’d have gained if not but apparently eight flights of stairs won’t burn off a Mai Tai 😬🤣. And I have to place a big chunk of the blame on the wonderful staff at Al Bacio…ask for a cookie or tart and suddenly there’s two in the bag, of each! 🤷♀️I’m not one to waste food 😇 😉
Truth.

People are now having luck with AirTags (Apple) or tile trackers for other smartphone users. EM
Yep - we have the Samsung Smart Tags - one in each piece of luggage, purse, knapsack, etc. So far have never had to use them but it is a comforting to board the plane and see that the luggage is also on the plane and also know that's it's off the plane and waiting to go on baggage claim.

Sailing on the Apex in a few weeks... we are currently in an inside cabin. I just looked and there appears to be no oceanview cabins available (only Oceanview GTY is showing). Does this mean there are no oceanview cabins left?
I was wondering if it would be worth submitting a MoveUp bid for an oceanview to see if it was accepted, would we get upgraded to a balcony (of which there are lots available).
Or would my bid just likely be rejected because there are actually no oceanviews available?
ThanksI am sure some of the oceanviews are going to bid to move up therefore opening up some rooms... and of course no shows and last minute cancellations.

In the past I've actually contacted via cruise critic forums someone on cruise before mine that was doing a B2B - had them buy me a bottle on last day of their first cruise and give to me when I boarded.

Only if you are elite and above. Wash N Fold laundry perk has never been a B2B perk, at least on all our Celebrity B2B cruises.
they gave us this in the cabin on the Summit in 2021- both of us got one,
while we are Elite there were other B2B who were not and they also got the card- 1

Thanks and yes the laundry bag on 2nd week will be taken advantage of.
Also - last time we did a B2B they gave both of us one free laundry bag after first cruise
Hope they still do that as we have a B2B in April

I don't think we'll be successful in our bid as all AQ cabins showing as sold, but don't want to ruin the slight chance we have.
but how many of the AQ cabins are bidding on suites? Some may open up because of this

wow I've never seen that before - looks like $40 a bag

A while back (several years ago) we got a Target Red Card credit card - they give you 5% back (at least they did at that time) and ordered the gift cards from them in $500 units

we've told the daughters to wait until we have both passed away and scatter our ashes together off a Celebrity Cruise that we (hopefully) will be paying for via inheritance to them.
Father-in-law was retired navy (Enterprise WW2) and he was buried at sea - navy sent back video of the burial - they did it with a lot of respect and formal ceremony. Mother-in-law passed away years later and was also buried at sea by the navy and again we got a nice video of it. Navy would do it for the wife (direct descendant) but not me. -
if your Android is Samsung Galaxy then we use Samsung Smart Tags (like Apple Air Tags)

We submitted request June 15 and it just showed up this morning (June 28)
I'm thinking that whoever is doing this only looks at the request ever 3 or 4 days and tries to catch-up on all the request then. Oher days they are busy doing other things. Like I said - just a guess

Exactly. I am tempted to drive to the distillery and see if I can get it direct. I just need to find a way to convince the wife that the “Bourbon Trail” should be our next vacation.
would love to do the Bourbon and Golf trail. Golf in the morning and visit distilleries in the afternoon

Trust a Russian: a. clever move; b. don't drink mixed drinks (hangover is elevated by at least 5x vs. a neat drink).
Amen to what kirtihk says. Those sugary additives will get you.
Drink top shelf if I can as usually filtered better IMHO and either neat or just over ice.- 1
