  1. Hi Skya,

Getting a day pass to a nice resort with beach, pools, etc is something we do A LOT

If you google : cozumel day passes to resorts for cruise guests, it will show a few.. A couple that looked really nice was the Cozumel Resort. & El CID La Ceiba Beach. They both offer everything a hotel guest gets but the room itself. All food, drink, etc included. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, everything.. You can go to trip advisor and read reviews of the resorts as well... Hope that helped.

  2. We receive these offers frequently. The ones we get are ship/date specific, you usually have about 6 to choose from. My husband And I both receive them, and yes we do gamble in the casino. Our offers always include credit to play in the casino, always different amounts.

We just received the latest offer, and after talking to about 3 different carnival reps from the phone number they listed I finally got one who was very helpful in helping me to get a cabin in the aft... But then --- she tells me we can have the Grand Suite for a total of 700.00 per person for this 8 day cruise on Freedom... My husband always tells me not to book anything but the aft but with this offer you never saw somebody jump on a deal so fast ! Have never had a Grand Suite so am very excited.... Oh, and we both get a nice amount of cash back in the casino as well...... I'm so stoked

  3. it took a lot of talking and begging for my husband to talk me into our first cruise.. The ocean scares me. ( almost drown in it when I was a child) ... So I finally relented and it's a good thing it was a carribean cruise where the water was so smooth and beautiful.

and that was all she wrote.............. the day we got home, I booked out next one.. and now if I don't have one booked I feel so empty.. So guess it really is an addiction.... We are getting ready to take our 9th one next month... life is good

  4. What difference does it make how obstructed it is? You're getting a balcony for only 30 a person more! That's a steal! Go for it. Obstructed usually means lifeboats beside or under but you still have a view and can sit outside.

    Pat

I disagree.. We had an obstructed view on the Paradise, it was a suite so I figured the balcony would be large enough and not matter. wrong.. it was horrible.. We didn't even go out there .. The balcony was so small you couldn't sit on a chair without turning it sideways and the lifeboats were pretty much in your face. Would never again get a cabin with obsturcted view.. JMO of course.
