I really hope they find your luggage. We got off the Allure Dec 2012, found all bags except one. Royal's lost and found at the port was indifferent to the point of rudeness. We filled out paperwork and left without our bag. Many calls and many months later still no luggage:( To be fair, we have been on many cruises without incident but we carry on our bags now as well.

25 days! One more 3 day on Monarch before she leaves Royal.

Looking forward to Enchantment of the Seas coming to Port Canaveral:D

My DH thinks any cruise destination needs palm trees, so I am still trying to talk him into Alaska but I would love to cruise there and spend some time in the NW.

If your ship is docked at Havensight, the taxi ride is 15 - 20 minutes depending on traffic. If you are docked at Crown Bay (just west of downtown Charlotte Amalie) it's about 30 - 35 minutes, depending on traffic.

Thanks for all the great info, I am just about convinced to try St John on our own. Last time we were in St Thomas, we took a ship tour to St John but would love to have more than 90 minutes at Trunk Bay. Do you know if Solstice docks at Havensight? Is the ferry ride fairly smooth?
