  1. We had a poolside cabana and loved it!!! It was the perfect spot for our two daughters to enjoy the pool, zipline and water slide. The pool was large, so there were areas away from the swim up bar side that weren't as crowded, but even by the bar, it never felt packed. I usually like the quiet, but I enjoyed the music and wasn't bothered by it. I loved all the great people watching from the balcony of the poolside cabana. I would definitely do it again!

  2. We were just on the Pride and had the American Table. I was very impressed. THe food selections were good and a nice variety. The local ports also had special menu items from their area on the menu on those nights. I felt like there might have been a few less choices than previously, but the quality made up for it!! Everything was fantastic! And to reassure those worrying about tablecloths and service, the tables are fine, and on formal nights, the table cloths are there! At these services, the waiters still serve bread out individually as in the "old" days, instead of just putting the basket on the table with the American Table style. I really liked how it was all done. Refreshing updating with some of the old traditions still included.

  3. We loved the Sunshine!!! We just sailed her in July. Don't let negative reviews get you down....sounds like you're not! She had so many positives about her. I would definitely sail her again, and she might actually be one of my favorites....after the Breeze, of course!!!

The Havana Bar area is a nice spot that always had seating, and great omelettes. There were also a few special food choices there at sail away. Yummy empanadas! The Steakhouse was one of the best we have been to in the fleet. The service onboard everywhere was fantastic! ENJOY!!!!

  4. We were on the 7/18 Sunshine. We did not run, by any means to the Red Frog. We actually were walking around and poked our head in and no one was there.

The bartendar rang the bell above the bar, telling us that it was signaling that we were the first ones there. He took our picture (with our camera!) and we ordered two beers.

Then, he handed us our receipt. No free beers for us. Just a ring of the bell. We laughed, shook our heads and paid our bill!

Using our camera should have been the tip off!

(I did ask if the beers were free and he said he was new and had no idea what I was talking about!)

  5. We just got off the Sunshine and didn't find her any more crowded than other ships on which we have sailed. However, we mostly ate breakfast/brunch in the dining room, and ate lunch a little later than the noon time rush. The main theater did have a line for shows before the doors opened. The same held true for the comedy shows.

I would definitely sail on the Sunshine again!!!

  6. Hi! I'm reaching out for some information for a friend. I'm hoping someone out there can help! Thank you in advance!

They are flying to Seattle, driving to Anacortes, taking the ferry to Orcas Island and driving to Vancouver for the RCCL to Alaska. They have a wheelchair reserved for a member of their party for the cruise, but would really like to have one on Orcas Island.

Does anyone have any personal experience with a reliable company for this? Thank you again!
