I will be ordering wifi on our upcoming cruise for the first time
What is the procedure once I get onboard? Will I receive a notice/card in my cabin that I have wifi service that I can take to the internet desk or do they have a list of all those that have purchased the wifi packages?
Thanks!

Sailing to Bermuda next month with a one year old. We are planning on taking a bus to Horseshoe Bay, can we take an open stroller on the bus?

How was the beach and walk into the ocean? I have read a few reviews on trip advisor that stated that the water had a lot of coral and it was difficult to walk.
Anyone know if this is a good description of the water?

Yes, we definitely get insurance! You can never predict what might happen and not necessarily with us, while traveling. Some emergency could happen back home and might need to fly home, might have an accident, fall break a bone....
We take it just in case ......

We are sailing on the Summit in November. We are trying to decide whether to purchase a Classic or Premium package. I read the list of beverages at the beginning of this thread and see most beverages/drinks cost $8 or less. There are a few drinks that cost a little more. We don't drink any of the "named" brands on the Premium Package. If we wanted Martini's than we would get the Premium Package. Other than that, I don't see why we would purchase the Premium Package.

We are using RIL for our upcoming trip. We have arranged to be picked up at the airport, taken to our hotel and then off to the Vatican to meet our tour guide. The next day, we will take RIL's 8 hour tour of Rome.
I have a tipping question and realize that tipping is a personal choice. My only questions is that since everyone was so happy with their tours and guides that the "going rate" seems to be 10-20 euro a person per tour,is this rate applicable to the driver who picks us up at the airport and then takes us to the hotel and then the Vatican? I expect to tip the Vatican tour guide and the driver/guide for our 8 hour tour the 10-20 euro rate but I am not sure about the driver.

We are arriving in Rome on a Saturday morning in July for a pre-cruise vacation . We will be taking the train to Tuscany on Monday. We wanted to tour ROme and Vatican on Saturday and Sunday, so I emailed RIL and asked what the best scenario would be for our trip. They would pick us up at the airport on Saturday, drop off luggage at hotel and procede to Vatican for a tour. Then on Monday, they would continue with our tour of Rome. We really wanted to leave early on Monday morning. Does anyone have any other suggestions for another tour operator that could give us a tour of Rome on Sunday? I was so disappointed that RIL could not help us out on Sunday. Your input will be appreciated.

I am beginning my research for our Mediterranean Cruise on Splendour of the Seas next July. This cruise leaves from Venice.
We are thinking of flying into Rome. Still looking for a hotel - should we pay a little extra and stay near the sites or book a hotel a little out of the way? I am sold on using RomanLimo. If we use RomanLimo, do we need to stay 2 days in Rome (arrival day and then the next full day of touring) and then we leave by train on our next portion of our trip - Florence. We will use RomanLimo again - need hotel. Again do we need 2 days in Florence to see all the sites?
Then we will take train to Venice. Tour full day and then leave on cruise the following day.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

It sounds like you had a fantastic time and made the right decision! How many other passengers were on the cruisetour?

We used Temsco last year for a group of 25. I did a ton of research on CC and found that this excursion was cancelled alot our of Juneau due to weather. I booked in Skagway - better weather conditions. The day we were in port in Juneau it was overcast and foggy.

Thanks Dennis and PD for all your information. You have been such a big help. We have contacted Landsea and I love the hotel you recommended in Whistler. I appreciate all the recommendations.

We are a group of 20 arriving in Vancouver on 8/8 after our Inside Passage cruise. We will be staying at the Blue Horizon. We would like to get to Victoria. What is the best way to get to Victoria? Would it be wise to find a tour company and get a van for all 20 of us? Can you recommend someone? Do you have any recommendations for restaurants that have good food and reasonable prices?
My husband and I are thinking of renting a car and doing an overnight trip to Whistler. What time would be the best time to drive? Would this trip be wise or is the traffic out of control due to construction? Can you recommend a nice hotel and restaurant in the village?
Thanks for your help!
