Yes, I'm from Spain, but I did my booking directly with the US site over the chat. I'll have a look to that option, I didn't know about it.
Can I ask where did you book? I am also from Spain and it would be interesting to check prices differences (feel free to Private message me). -

Probably for accurate information you would need to look at the ship that you’re going on or potentially going on and see if somebody has posted the patters/event listings or mentioned it in one of their lives from.
Some ships have more than 2 casual places, but average 2. So not much choice.if you post the ship ( I think you might be on the Caribbean princess? )that you’re going on, maybe somebody can chime in & tell their experience of what was open for lunch on a sea day. I seem to have read somewhere that a venue was open on a sea day.
I believe the Caribbean princess only has vines and maybe a few pop-ups.
By the way, I don’t believe any of the casual places take a reservation, but maybe steamers and planks does?? Because they are pop ups.
Thanks for your info! You are right... we will be on the Caribbean princess. I asked that because maybe we will have the premier package, so using our unlimited casual dining for lunch would be useful.

Are casual dining locations open for lunch on sea days ?

I also would like to see Laphroaig or other Islay whiskeys. We love smoked whiskeys… I hope we will find any on our upcoming cruise on the Caribbean Princess.

Hi everybody,
I read that Seabourn is one of the companies that cruise Glacier Bay in Alaska. I am looking to the itineraries and can’t find which ones visit glacier bay, anybody knows?

So no Baltic or Mediterranean seabourn cruises?

Hi Cublet,
We are planning to do this cruise in August in the eclipse. I have read that the demographics were quite old, around 70s, is that correct? Were there in your cruise people around 30-40s?
Hello,Forgive me for butting in as I am not travelling with you.
However I did this cruise last year on the Eclipse so anything I can help you with - please ask.
As for hotels close to the port, there are a couple of 'simple' hotels close to the port. I say 'simple' because 'basic' makes them sound bad. By simple I mean they do not have lots of the facilities I would want if going for a hotel vacation. However they are clean and tidy though not the hight of luxury. Holiday Inn Express you must know, and in addition there are Premier Inns, Novotel and Travelodge. I would be happy to spend a single pre or post cruise night in one of these. But NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES Day's Inn or Comfort Hotels. I'm sorry I cannot be specific about individual hotels as I sail out of Southampton.
Regards,
Cublet

We are on the same trip with the premier package.
First day for lunch we had a Cabernet and one Zinfandel (I don’t remember the brand) that were awful for us. In the evening we tried in Vines another Zinfandel from Langmeil Barossa that it was quite good. We were taking our glasses to the MDR and the waiter requested us to change the glasses for a normal (and small) ones… not a good move in my opinion. It is not necessary to use riedel glasses, but using big glasses for wine should be mandatory for a good wine, even more if the company says it takes care of wine.
Right now a deceived experience…
