Let me start off by saying, thank you for taking the time to write another awesome review!! I read on the boards a few weeks ago that carnival will be placing an invite in every cabin that has an 18 to 20 year old in it since they cannot attend club O2 any longer. I am assuming your son Ryan is 18 since he was allowed in the casino. I am wondering because my son has loved being able to go to club O2 and meeting tons of people. But he will be 18 next June and will be graduating we are going on the Magic the end of July and I am hoping that carnival is really trying to implement this for this age group. Did you find an invite in your cabin the day your boarded? Thank you ahead of time for your response :)

Hello I was wondering if I purchase cruise cash for someone as a surprise, does anyone know if there will be anything left in the cabin the day they embark letting them know they have cruise cash on their account?

I have a question in your pictures I saw the pizza place in called pizza pirate and I know that is what it is called on the Breeze also. Does that mean the pizza is the upgraded kind like the breeze? Hi we will be on norweign getaway in august and it will be stopping in Nassau. We are interested in doing an atv tour and found no excursions for that offered thru norweign. Does anyone know if they have any private atv excursions offered on thei island? Any help is greatly appreciated :D:D

Willowvacay - Hi thanks for your great review, I am trying to talk my husband and the sons 20 and 16 to try the getaway. We have cruised Disney and Carnival and we love carnival. I want to try the getaway, but I have a couple of questions for you I hope you can answer. Did you happen to notice if they have the free ice cream machines up on the lido deck, and are they open 24 hours? Carnival has 4 of these and they are awesome :D:D. Also, do they have any kind of late night snacks or food offered for free? My husband and kids love carnival and they enjoy having options they can eat late at night :rolleyes: thanks for any information you can give me.

Thanks for your comparison and opinions, we were midship both times we sailed the Breeze and we never smelt any sewage smell :eek:

Cruisecathy, lol oops ok thank you. I'm trying to decide between splendor or the breeze for next year. We've done the breeze twice, but we live in NJ and the prices for next summer are compareable for once. I would love to sail out of NY for once and be so close to home. But my husband and kids want to do the breeze again since we love the big, beautiful boat. I see you have sailed the Breeze, do you find the 2 boats comparable at all?

We will be on carnival breeze in June, and stopping on grand Turk. Carnival offers an excursion for atv's but it's pretty pricey. Does anyone know of any private tour company that offers this? Thank you in advance for any help :D:D

In my searches I have found one company Island marketing that seems to service people from cruise ships and are way cheaper than the ship excursion.

That said I am still doing ship excursions which I do like and con not find elsewhere for a cheaper price. But I understand wanting more than a drive.

Not sure what date you will be in San Juan but when I asked they told me that they will have a private tour for the Rain Forest up soon that is more than a drive. Never got the details, hope this helps.

My family and I will be visiting San Juan on a carnival cruise. We are very interested in seeing the rainforest. The tour thru carnival seems like it is basically a drive thru and maybe makes one or two stops. We want more time to explore all the waterfalls and swim in them if possible. Does anyone know if there is any private tour companies I can book something like this through? I would appreciate any help and suggestions if anyone has tried any before and can recommend one. Hello Zimomiller, first of all, thank you for such a great review I am really enjoying it. My husband and I were thinking about taking this cruise next summer with our two boys 18 and 14. All four of us LOVE cruising we have been on 2 disney cruises and 5 carnival and have loved every single one. We have never been on norwegian so this is where I would like to ask a couple questions? Did you happen to notice if there were lots of kids between the ages of 14 and 15 years old? Are there kids clubs seperated by ages? What is there to do for my 18 year old where he can meet people his own age? They are very used to carnival and love going to the teen clubs and meeting lots of friends their ages. I would appreciate any information you can share with me regarding the Pride and all my questions if you took notice to it. Thank you very much :D:D:D
