    Yes this is for a cruise that MSC cancelled.  The transatlantic out of New York April 15th.   We were offered either the 125% FCC or refund.   We selected refund and got an email about an hour later saying that the refund would not be given until after December 2021.   Needless to say we are not happy!

    Lucky you in Canada we have been told refund only after December 2021

    But when you book an airfare you know you are booking with no changes at least they are giving you a credit.   MSC is holding our money hostage.

    Yes the American's are getting a refund in 60 days but anyone else it will be after December 2021

We received the same email last night.   This is so unacceptable.   I will not be cruising with MSC again.   Their handling of this from the Canadian office has been pathetic.   They did not even cancel our transatlantic out of New York until yesterday.   Fingers crossed our credit card company will dispute the charge.   I just have no words right now............

We are still waiting for them to cancel our April 15th TA cruise out of New York.   It is cancelled on the US site but not the Canadian site.   They are telling our TA we can only get a FCC.   I am so frustrated.   We are in the same boat no pun intended we need them to cancel to submit our insurance for flights and hotels...............

I was on hold with the Canadian office yesterday for over 45 minutes.   When I finally got through to someone he was amazing.  I had a few questions that he did not know the answers to.   He took my number and said he would call back.   I was not holding my breath that this would happen but he did call back later in the day with answers to every question and also informed me that we qualified for a discount due to being a government employee.  I had no clue about this and was amazed that he gave us the discount.  He also added a bottle of wine to our cabin since he could not help with the original problem that was out of his control.   I was very impressed with his service.  He did mention how short staffed they were.  If you can get over the long wait times the employees are very helpful.

  9. We just this this same cruise last week with the only difference being we embarked in Bari not Venice. We arrived at the cruise terminal around 11 and we were on the ship with a drink in hand before 12:30. This ship was by far one of the most beautiful ships we have ever been on. The staff was amazing. Food was available 20 hours a day. The buffet food was well above any American cruise line that we have taken. The shows were good not great but nothing really to complain about. Our only complaint would be the short port times. I would book with MSC again in a heart beat.
