I also think that these are great suites.   The balcony is huge (almost too big if that's possible).   And remember with this suite you get unlimited speciality dining.  Enjoy your special occasion.   

There is always a chance you will arrive late, of course.   However, we booked this same flight on American Airlines (different date) and have no worries.   The reason is we always look at what flights Celebrity allows through Flights by Celebrity, and this flight is listed.    Also, the last time we sailed into Sydney, we were at the airport by 9am without rushing.   There are plenty of taxis at the terminal.

In all cases where they added the elevators to access the sundeck, we have never found them to be functioning and always out of order.   

Our new favorite bar is WCB.    We love the Velvet Hour Highlander and Banana Republic.

I’ve had my iPhone come out of airplane mode on a restart. I noticed it immediately and didn’t get any charges. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to work (probably). 

I had the exact same thing happen to me.    Overnight my phone rebooted and somehow it went off APM.    I caught it quickly the next day but still resulted in a $40 charge on my T-mobile bill.

Always love reading your blogs, but this one will be of particular interest.   We are doing a similar itinerary on Edge (B2B2B) from HNL this coming October.    We have yet to make plans for any of the port stops so I'm sure reading your blog will give me many great ideas.

We are on a cruise February 10 so hopefully everything will work out with our new status.

 

I also put a request in a couple days ago to join the Zenith FB page. Waiting to hear back from them.

We were contacted within a week of reaching Zenith and they told us they were sending out our package.   We had to follow up a twice as the package hadn't arrived a month later.    When we boarded our cruise after reaching Zenith, they contacted us as soon as we boarded and let us know when then celebration would take place.  

I am having issues on Safari but if it use firefox to log in, no issues.

After reading the recent posts that are primarily very negative, I found the webinar to be refreshing and genuine.   I am looking forward to some of the vision/ideas come to life in the future.

I have sailed the inaugurals on each of the S-class ships and never have I seen water flow from this tile "fountain"   I too thought it looked like it should have had water. 

Usually, they won't touch it, but because they had a schedule change, my experience has been they will assist you directly.   Good luck.   

I stayed here post reno.    The rooms were fine and the service decent (not great but not bad either).    F&B offerings were very limited and the service was SLOW.   And the prices were very high.    That being said, I have stayed at about 4 hotels near the port, and the Hilton was the best.

The staff!    And we really love the design of the new ships.

Investing to note that on the last investor/earning call, it was mentioned that all of their brands are profitable.    I still think it will be some time before this process starts again, and I would not be surprised to see some of the M-class ships leave the fleet.    

Also, we were just on Silhouette, and I really liked the updates.   We sailed on Reflection 4 days later and you can really see the differences.    I would say ML and SM had more dramatic upgrades versus SL but she still looked quite good.

Every holiday cruise I have taken including the last 2 years had a priest on board and he conducted mass and also a non denominational service.    We went to mass on Christmas day and I would say that there were may 75-100 people.   However, I heard midnight mass had a fully packed theater.   I believe daily mass was offered that entire week.

One question that I would love to ask.     Is there any consideration to having one combined loyalty program across all brands?    There is not much incentive for me as a loyal Celebrity guest to book Silversea or even RC.   I know the status transfers but it would be great (and be the first brand that I know of) to be able to earn points across all brands.

I can't believe we didn't discover this awesome concoction until this past week.     By chance is there anyone here who has either a picture of the drink menu from the retreat or, better yet, the recipe?   Thanks in advance.   

I double your thoughts on this cruise.   Food was great, service amazing, shows some of the best we've seen, and the officers were present everywhere.  Internet was either great or awful.   I am guessing great while testing Starlink and awful other times with all of the cloud cover.    

The winds were crazy.   And I did notice the ship rocking a few times but I had no issue with seasickness or sleeping at night.

I'm fairly certain that to use emed, you must have a US address.    You can use it out of the country but the account must have a US based address.     And no self tests are accepted.    They must either be done in person or through a video call such as emed.

I've booked flights with them twice and had no issues.   It worked just as if I had booked them independently.
