    Q: How do I receive equivalent recognition in Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club?s.gif

    A: As a benefit of Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Plus membership in Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society, you will receive equivalent recognition in the Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club. If you are currently a member of both loyalty programmes, you will automatically receive benefits based on your highest membership level of the two. For instance, if you are a Crown & Anchor Platinum member and a Captain's Club Classic member, you will automatically be entitled to the Select level in the Captain's Club. And if you are a Diamond or Diamond Plus member, you will automatically receive equivalent recognition as a Captain's Club Elite member. The benefits of the two programmes will remain independent, and the number of sailings a member accrues on each brand will not be combined. You will earn the cruise credit for the brand you are sailing with as long as you are a member of that brand's loyalty programme.

    If you are a Platinum, Diamond or Diamond Plus member in the Crown & Anchor Society but not a member of the Captain's Club and plan on sailing on Celebrity Cruises, call the Loyalty Service Centre on 0844 493 5010 to enrol in equivalent recognition. And please remember to provide your Membership Number whenever you reserve a cruise holiday to receive all the benefits you deserve.

  2. They won't likely tell you about it, BUT on the "Italian Night" make sure you get photos taken of you at your table. EACH CABIN can receive 2 FREE photos! I discovered it afterwards while visiting the photo desk, and came across the sign. When I confronted the photo gallery assist as to why we weren't made aware of this opportunity PRIOR, he just shrugged his shoulders.

    Last night I made the photo gallery manager aware that I would post this FREE opportunity, and they should expect huge crowds collecting their 2 free photos in the future! cdb59f05d8e6a7364bdba8e69af7aff8.jpg

  4. I've done inaugural maidens on Carnival, NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Princess. All had their share of problems, with NCL and the inaugural QUANTUM OF THE SEAS crossing probably being the worst. The NORWEGIAN EPIC was a complete disaster in the beginning. In fact she acquired the nickname EPTANIC. It actually took a couple months for her to start running smoothly. On QUANTUM there were tons of technology challenges, from a/c in the cabins to a new order system for the waiters, and an entirely new dining concept (which has since been abandoned). Still I managed to enjoy them all, and sometimes the glitches were part of the fun. It was also interesting to watch it all come together a bit more with each passing day.

    We were there on QUANTUM right along with you. What an ordeal!!

  5. Here's the menu for Bistrot La Boheme. Sorry the quality isn't the best, but if you right click and choose "view image," you can see a larger size.

    Ashley, I'm sure several of us would be ETERNALLY grateful if you could take a snapshot of ONLY the "Dining Experience" part of each specialty restaurant's menu. There's many of us trying to determine if we're going to take advantage of one of the two discounted dining experiences available for purchase pre-cruise. Thanks for your updates and reviews!! Slideboarding™

    In an industry first, MSC will add to the thrills of traditional waterpark fun by offering guests the chance to participate in “Slideboarding™” – a unique waterslide and interactive video game all in one. Guests race down a two-story, 367 foot slide on a sleekly designed raft that includes an embedded game controller with colored buttons. The end goal – match the color of the flashing strobe lights seen on various sections of the slide with the colored buttons on the raft. The slide uses a smart gaming system that knows who riders are and tracks their progress and scores over the run down the waterslide.

  8. This can be pre-booked for Divina/August for $55 per person, and it is for the entire cruise.

    The description is vague! Has anyone bought/used a Thermal Area Cruise Pass?

    My agent emailed me it provides;

    -Unlimited access to sauna

    -Unlimited access to relaxation room

    Is that it? And what's a relaxation room? Any photos?
