  1. I am still waiting for a supervisor return call. We'd love to have one balcony and one inside across the hall, but again, since originally we were also told side by side would be permissible, we stuck with the insides. There were not connecting cabins available, we asked that too. I will call again tomorrow, then maybe give up. I am holding celebrity cabins without any of these hassles for the same week, but thought the perks and price were worthy of the switch. I appreciate knowing we are not the only ones ncl is picking on and suspect we will just use another cruise line for the next 3 years, or until policy changes again.

  2. the kids room had their choice of wifi or maybe we'd use the prepaid service charge offer - we did not decide. We were not planning on a guarantee for any of us. The available cabins were exactly next door ( just no connecting door inside) and they would not let us book without an over 21 in each cabin.. making us pick the beverage package for both cabins .. useless to the non-drinking kids -who'd much prefer wifi. ( additionally, we were thinking of one balcony cabin and one inside cabin - non-guarantee, across the hall - but, they still won't permit this now.)

More importantly, its this strict "policy" that I am being told is now enforced.

  3. After 2 hours on phone NCL won't book my kids ( 18 and 16) in a cabin next door? I am being told the policy has changed, they are stricter and kid/young adult cabin has to be either a connecting cabin or just place one adult in each cabin. We'd book with one adult in each cabin.. but, with the drink package promotion, the costs change dramatically if we split up. We've cruised with NCL 4 times in 2015 ( 3 were weekends) - and had no booking problems. Any input? Thanks!

  4. Just off the Sky on Monday. Booked it again for August on Wednesday. It was fun, relaxing, and absolutely can't go wrong when you have the drink package! Staff was very kind and helpful. The food was good in regular dining and gourmet in the pay restaurants. As long as you recognize and don't expect it to be Celebrity or Crystal - you will absolutely enjoy what the ship has to offer.

  5. We are interested in walking from International pier to an all inclusive day pass report. We have read about El Cid, with some good reviews and some not so great.

Any other recommendations? and any recommendations as to the best way to book? (while we appreciate kindness in other driving suggestions, the walking thing is a must - getting into a taxi or other vehicle is a deal - breaker). Thanks!
