  1. Some other things to note, the bag of beer or bucket of beer is not included in the beverage package. You can only get individual ones. You can order beers and have them leae the cap on. In fact I ordered some in Grolsch style bottles and was able to actually bring them home.

I understand you can't order more than one beverage at a time on the beverage package but that doesn't mean I can't order a bucket of beers for my room and just pay for it additional or does it?

  2. The "bucket" of beer can be taken with you. I bought the "bag" for the "bag of beer" on our last royal cruise, and it's meant to be taken with you as it's a cooler bag with a strap on it.

We're supposed to carry on the wine allowance, not leave it in checked luggage.

How do you get this "Bag O Beer" that you speak of?? I have looked online through all the gifts being offered and didn't see the "Bag O Beer" (love that saying). Being a Carnival cruiser I am accustomed to having beer in my room upon arrival. Sailing RC for the first time next May with the Premium drink package and trying to figure out how to get a six pack or two in the room. Thank you for any and all help.

  3. From my signature, you can see that I'm a Carnival fan. With the exception of a few minor instances, I've always enjoyed sailing on Carnival because its affordable and we always have a great time. Being the group coordinator I suggested we try a different cruise line and we're sailing on the Adventure of the Seas next year.

Meanwhile, I'm research everything I can regarding AOS and Royal. Lately, I'm seeing a lot of negative comments regarding RCL. From increase in cabin prices, staff service, to 40% increase in drink prices, etc. I'm not going to let these comments deter me from sailing RCL next year, but I'm hoping that once onboard the AOS, RCL proves most of the negative comments wrong. :)

Totally agree with you! This will be my first with RC and I am hoping what is being said is blown up a bit. All of my cruises with Carnival the service, food and staff have all been wonderful. Sailing on AOS next May and I can't wait. If the drinks are cold and the sun is shining it will be a great cruise!

  4. Trying to decide which ship to take out of San Juan May 2016. I have been doing a lot of research on both sides. I am starting to lean towards RC Adventure of the Sea. I have only been on Carnival (5 times) but I am not opposed to cruising other lines although I feel like I am cheating on Carnival. We are cruising with several couples ages from 40-50ish.

I am looking for thoughts and opinions regarding either ship.

    Thank you -

  5. I'm bummed because there is nothing out of San Juan in April 2016. Unless I'm not seeing it??? We agreed to celebrate our anniversary doing the Southern Caribbean out of San Juan. I guess it won't be on Carnival.

They haven't posted any cruises after March 2016 from San Juan. They should be coming out soon - I hope! Planning San Juan cruise May 2016

  6. I submitted my form last night after I noticed the price had dropped $200 today I noticed the price was only down by $100. Which one do I get the price when they process the form or the price of what the cruise was on the day I submitted the form? I printed out what the price would be but didn't put any info in the comment sections of the form..Hoping for the $200 credit!
