We had an 8A on our recent Fantasy cruise and we loved it. On our cruise before that we had a balcony but rarely used it. Our girls LOVED the big portholes to sit in. We'd definitely do another 8A.

We have two girls - 4 and 2.5 - and I just can't see spending this much for both to attend. YIKES! We could even afford it but I guess I have a "cheap" gene that won't even let me consider it. LOL. I don't think I'd be ok with doing it if I had just one daughter. I just can't imagine.

You are such a breath of fresh air! I often feel like Disney fans can't admit they Iike any other cruise lines, or say anything remotely positive. Our next cruise is on the Disney Fantasy so I've witnessed that attitude a lot in various online groups lately.

I'd rather be on a party boat than a boat full of stuffy, pretentious people. Lol. Seriously, those that judge Carnival negatively for it's fun atmosphere must be tons of fun.

And let me clarify, I'm not a big party girl - I'm 35, married with two small children, never was a big drinker though I did have some fun back in college. I suppose I could be stuck up if I wanted to but it seems like a real waste of time and energy.

We sail on the Fascination soon. I'm trying to decide if we should take the Carnival shuttle back to the airport after the cruise or if we should just take a taxi. It's me, my husband and our two daughters (2 and 1). I know the Carnival shuttle is $15 per person over 2 so we'd pay $45 for that. How much would a taxi cost? And do we need to schedule that before or just hail one after leaving the terminal?
