  1. We leave on Infinity June 5 out of Vancouver for Alaska. I have no idea what to pack, was not taking gowns for me or a tux for him, even though we have many. Do people dress a little warmer, in colder climates? Was thinking longer sleeved cocktail dresses, then sweater dresses for non Chic nights? Never been to Alaska, always done Caribbean or Panama Canal cruises, know how to pack for that! So confused!

  2. I have stayed in that cabin on a 14 day Panama canal cruise. WE LOVED IT!!! I was worried about the smaller closet...really worried, especially on a long cruise, but it was fine! And we have an overpacking problem, 2 large suitcases and 2 huge garment bags. The huge bathroom makes up for a slightly smaller closet. Do bring a small power strip, you will need it. The furnishings are a dark wood, so it seems a little darker in the cabin. Having said that, that same cabin became open on our next Summit cruise...and I grabbed it!

  3. Just off the Millie and after several days of rumors and innuendo, we learned that Andrew Harris has left Celebrity. Very disappointing news, as he was loved by both passengers and crew. We booked this last cruise because of the attitude he brought to the ship, and his departure was noticed! Good luck to Andrew in his newest endeavor and thank you for 3 unforgettable Millie cruises! We really missed him on this last Millie cruise!!! A great Hotel Director!

  4. Mr. Harris will no longer be the HD on the ML.

Sheldon T. and Christopher will share the HD duties on the ML.

Periodically they move the brass around to keep things fresh.

Really, Really sorry to here that. Andrew is the BEST HD and the main reason we sailed on Millie our last 3 cruises! Disappointed that he has gone to the Connie...guess it's time to jump ships (after this Canal cruise May 12 on ML)! Thanks for the info. :(

  5. We spent the day with Dan and Berit in April 2011, while on a cruise. I will admit, at first we were leary...but a group from our CC role call talked us into joining them. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! I won't go into details, it has all been said above and I agree with everyhting. If you have a chance to do this...GO! you will not regret it and you ill have an amazing experience. My other half, who does NOT got for this kind of thing, had the time of his life! He could not stop talking about his day, both while back on the ship and once we got home.

We just booked a last minute Panama Canal cruise for this May. The first thing I did was email Dan and Berti...as I could not wait to go with them again. Unfortunately (for us), they will be in the States at that time, as their dauhter is graduating from University. I was heartbroken and my SO was very disappointed. Nothing will compare to meeting and spending time with the people of Colombia, and if I ever get back to Cartagena again, my first email will be to Dan and Berit. DO IT...it will be the higlight of your trip!
