So I have the same problem booked flights through Princess. British airways Glasgow - Heathrow - Rome. Found out over a week ago BA cancelled the Heathrow - Rome flight through the BA web site. Tried to contact Princess 3 hours on hold gave up. Next day tried again again on hold. Held on so long I was connected with the USA customer service.  Sorry can’t help you try again later. Next day tried again called the flights dept after an hour finally got through. Explained about the cancellation reply we don’t know anything about it. You need to contact the flight department. Reply I did contact the flight department. Sorry there is no one here from flight. So who are you long pause customer service and I can’t help you but I will seen an E-mail to flights. Reply but if there is no one there who will respond    We are very busy at the moment you will need to wait. So that was all a week ago have tried every day to speak to flights with no luck. Cruise personliser is still not reflecting the cancelled flight. The on hold music is driving me up the wall. I have sent multiple e-mails on the contact us form received the automatic reply then nothing more.

Sailing for the first time as elite what does the upgraded bathroom amenities include

My husband and I will be on the Viking Mekong in late December. Although we are experienced Viking travellers, I have questions about preparing for this trip. Would someone be willing to share your packing list? What was the typical dress for dinner? What things do you wish that you has known before your trip? Will Viking have special activities on Christmas Eve and Cbristmas Day? What are the charges for laundry on the Mekong?

My husband and I will be doing this trip in September. I am planning on taking a few quick dry shirts for during the day. For night a few pairs of crop trousers and a variety of tops nothing to dressy

Any good or bad points about the ship or tips I should know about

I have just cancelled my princess air flights flying from Glasgow to Miami

As I have saved myself £1000 booking direct with BA for the same flights as before

The transfer between terminals is easy it's about 20min between T5 and T3. Off the flight follow the signs and the bus will be waiting.

We fly on the 6th November 0930 from Glasgow

Thanks for the info ashhill it's worth thinking about for future cruises. At the moment I still work full time so I don't have the luxury of flying out much in advance. Roll on retirement

Since I am flying from the Scotland it is about convenience. If I wanted to fly to Fort Lauderdale it would involve 3 flights and three chances to loose luggage. Which has happened in the past. It would also be close to 24hrs travel time. So it is easy to take a more direct route.

As previously said cruises in the UK can be sold as a package flights transfers hotel and cruise. I did look at booking everything separate but it was working out more expensive.

With princess the cost of transfers from airport to hotel one night stay in the hotel and transfer to ship and final transfer back to the airport was £105 which works out about $150

We are staying at the intercontinental Doral Miami prior to our cruise on the emerald in November. Does anyone know what time the transport normally leaves to head to port Everglades

My DH did the crab shack on the Emerald. Since I am allergic to shell fish and sea food I just collected my meal from the buffet then joined him at the table. They still brought him the portion that was for two. It was so good he went back the second week. We are on the emerald again next year so he is keeping his fingers crossed that they will have it again

We just came of the Emerald yesterday. There's was a technical problem with the engines one if the nights that resulted in a reduced cruising speed overnight.

As a nurse I would never advise someone to go on holiday with an open wound. Yes you could be fine but you could also develop further problems. The ships nurses could help you out but you would also be charge for the help

I have only had one massage on the Diamond and never again. I ended up with a back covered in bruises. And that was asking the girl to ease up on the pressure

My final balance is not due to be paid until June. But even if it is after the final balance date it never hurts to make a phone call.
