Was wondering how far it is from where celebrity docks to Pompeii. We have a pretty good onboard credit with celebrity and we want to maximize our time in Pompeii. The problem is my wife wants an extensive tour of Pompeii. We want to spend every minute we can in Port. Unfortunately celebrities largest Excursion that includes Pompeii does not have the extensive tour of Pompeii. They have a small group tour of Pompeii that is 4 hours but you have to return back to the ship after the tour. Ideally we would like a small group tour of Pompeii and a lesser tour of the Amafaly coast. Anyone done something like this?

A friend of mine that's traveling with us read somewhere that you have to make reservations for the shows is this true or not

I was wondering whether you could bring bottled water on board MSC armonia we typically bring a case of water just because we like the bottled water better than the tap water you get on cruises. From what I've seen it looks like that may be a problem did you happen to bring water or notice anyone bringing water onboard

We will be in Cabo 7-1 on Ruby Princess. We will be tendering so we probably won't get to the peir until 8. I was wondering if the whale watching tours you can book on the pier have rigid start times or do they leave when they have enough people to fill the boat? Most of the tours I see on line start too early or too late. I really would prefer to book off the pier and not have to book through Princess any one have any experience with this?

I am planning to use one of the shuttle services in LA to get to the port crown plaza hotel. How long of a wait without a reservation?. If I do get a reservation are they always on time? What if my flight is late do they wait? Please share your experiences.

Is it true that when you get off the cruise ship in Cabo there are many walk on whale watching tours available or is it better to reserve one ahead of time? We are there from 7-2.

We are booked on the Feb 7 NCL Jewel cruise. I have an inside booked and am hoping to upgrade to a balcony. I would love to hear the best price people booked a balcony on NCL or Princess in February of last year.
