Does anyone know if the Chefs Table Dinner or Winemakers dinner are held on formal/Dress to Impress nights?

We have the drink package that comes with Princess Plus and are wondering if we can order mixed drinks (like ones you see on pinterest) that are not on the menu providing they have all the ingredients at that bar.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,
I will be going on the Sky Princess in December and was wondering if you could order from the Crown Grill Menu (for a fee) and have it brought to your table in the dining room. Also, is this only on certain nights or can it be on any night of the cruise.
Thanks in advance for your help

We are booked on the NCL Escape for April 2022 and I just noticed our bed is by the balcony. We would rather have the sofa by the balcony. Does anyone know if it is possible to switch to the room next door (it is available) without having to rebook? The price currently is double what we paid and we also don't want to lose any of our perks.
Thanks for your help.

I would love it if NCL had on at least some of their ships a smoke free casino, like Celebrity does.
Also I agree with the person who thinks that NCL should include bottled water and coffee as part of their beverage packages like the other lines do.

Has anyone who received a 125% FCC for the cruises cancelled from March to June been able to apply the entire FCC to the new cruise including the Beverage and Dining Gratuities for the "free perks"? We are interested in booking a cruise and the price of the cruise plus those gratuities are just about equal to our FCC.
Thanks for your help

Does anyone know if the Main Dining Room menus are shown in advance on your cabin TV? If it matters, we will be on the NCL Escape. Thanks in advance for your help.

I understand that when you use your Dining Plan at Pinchos or at Food Republic that you are allowed to order 4 menu items.
Does anyone know if it is possible for 2 people to go to Pinchos or Food Republic and only order 4 items total (2 items each) so that only 1 dining credit is used?
Thank you for your help.

I will be sailing the 10 day out of San Francisco to Alaska at the beginning of May and have a few questions about the internet on the Grand. This will be my first time sailing on Princess so no elite minutes.
- Since the dry-dock, has the internet speed improved at all?
-
In my pre-cruise documents I have the option for 3 different cruise packages:
PrincessCONNECT — Premium Package
From e-mail to streaming, enjoy truly premium, unlimited access!
All Internet usage subject to Princess Cruises' standard policies, which may limit browsing of sites due to network security and bandwidth usage. Applications that use high bandwidth may be blocked and offerings subject to change.
PrincessCONNECT — Surf PackageSurf your favorite sites from e-mail, news, sports and more.*
*May not allow for audio/video calling and streaming.
PrincessCONNECT — Social PackageUnlimited access to the most popular social websites and applications.*
*May not allow for audio/video calling and streaming.
- If I just want to connect my tablet to the internet and play a couple of games, check facebook, and go to a few websites to download a few files, what option would I need to select?
- If I find that the internet is way too slow or isn't allowing me into the sites that I wanted to go to, can I cancel the package and receive a refund?
- If I choose the wrong package would I have the ability to upgrade to the next package up?
- Is the price better when you book before the cruise vs once you are on the cruise?
Thank you everyone for your help.

Good Afternoon,
We are thinking of choosing the Free 3-meal Dining perk as one of our options on our next cruise. My question is, onboard, can you upgrade it to a different plan, like a 5-meal plan, and just pay the difference, or do you need to purchase another 3-meal plan in order to dine at a specialty restaurant for 5 nights?
Thanks for your help,
Lynne

Thank You. Planning to call the big online agency in New Hampshire tonight.
-
Thank you. We will call the travel agency for clarification.
-
It was a different travel agency than who we used last year. Last year the gratuities never showed up on the cabin statement.
We did not ask the travel agent yet.
The travel agent is a common one used here, so I was hoping someone else had some experience with the issue.
Thanks

One of the perks we received for our upcoming Celebrity Cruise was Complimentary Gratuities. The travel agent has us booked in Traditional dining. On the first day of the cruise, we were going to try to switch to Select Dining, as we have done in the past.
The email showing all of our perks from the travel agency show a statement of: Prepaid Gratuities for the 1st & 2nd passengers in the cabin from Celebrity Cruises. Prepaid gratuities are non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash, per Celebrity Cruises. (Complimentary Gratuities Offer applies to two guests per stateroom and provides for prepaid stateroom, waiter, assistant waiter and head waiter gratuities in the amount suggested by Celebrity’s guidelines. Combinable with Traditional Dining Only and may be delivered as Shipboard Credit).
Last year when we switched we also had complimentary gratuities and didn't have an issue using them with Select Dining.
Has anyone experience that this is no longer the case?
We don't want to lose the complimentary gratuities as our upcoming cruise is 14 nights and that would be a lot of money to pay just for having the dining we prefer.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Breakaway NY to Bermuda, Changed the departure time from Bermuda on Friday. It was 5pm, now it is 3pm. At least on the September 6th sailing.
-
Thank you for your response.
There is nothing specific we want to see. We were thinking of the Uptown Tour and the Night tour for Friday. The Downtown Tour and the Ferry Tour for Saturday. We were planning on walking around Times Square and walking around Central Park as well. I believe the Ferry Tour takes us near the Brooklyn Bridge, so we were planning on getting pictures of that from the boat.
Being that it is Labor Day weekend, do you think it will be extremely crowded in NYC?
-
We are going to NYC prior to our Breakaway cruise on September 4th. We are arriving at LGA at 930am and planning to go by taxi to our Time's Square hotel to drop off our bags, and booking the 48 hour Citysights Hop on Hop Off Bus. This is the first time either of us have been to NYC, and we thought this would be the best way to see the highlights of the city in a short time.
Has anyone ever done this? Is it worth the price? Is there a better way to see NYC?

Does anyone know if you have to use it on consecutive nights, or just 3 nights during your cruise for a 3 night plan?
Also, with the old UDP, you were able to eat at multiple venues for instance apps at one venue, dinner at another, and dessert at a third. Does anyone know if this would be available with the new packages?
Thanks

Does anyone know if the Welcome Aboard Show is broadcast the next day on the in-cabin TV? We have conflicts for both of the showings on the Getaway, and would like to see the preview of Burn the Floor to decide if that is something we would be interested in seeing or if we might be bored.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

I would have one in your party book the UDP before hand and that person can make all the reservations for the group for the week except the Illusionarium. (I just did this on the getaway and it worked well) For the Illusionarium I might pay to reserve before hand for everyone and then get a refund once on board and you buy the package (I did not try this so don't know for sure you would get the refund).
Has anyone been able to pay for it beforehand and get a refund for the tickets onboard, once they have purchased the UDP?

How likely would it be for a solo cruiser to get invited to the chef's dinner?
