  1. We are on the Escape Dec 30th.  This will be my 3rd time on this ship.  It is my favourite NCL ship. Would love to hear all about your Tobacco Road experience and who the bartenders are there and at the other bars.  Feel free to share who your favourite are.  We are huge bourbon fans and will upgrade our drink package to the + to get the higher end liquors!  We are also in Vibe so if you also have passes would love to hear about your experience.  Have a wonderful cruise.

  2. Can the $750 off be used on an existing reservation or does it need to be a new booking?  And I read that the reward needs to be used within 60 days.  Does that mean you must cruise within 60 days or that you must book a cruise within 60 days?  Finally can the reward amount be used as the deposit on a cruise?

  3. What an amazing live report.  I am doing my first Virgin cruise on Valiant Lady in April with 3 other girls.  This report got me so excited!

if you had to name 5 must do things on the ship what would the be?  I want to have some tank tops made up and include a check list of must do’s on the back.

You can do a play on the iconic Virginia State tourism slogan and do:

     'VIRGIN IS FOR LO❤️ERS'

I think that would be awesome if I was cruising with my husband!!!

  5. 4 women going on our first Virgin cruise and I want to have some tank tops made for us to wear on board.  Anyone have some witty wording?  Would like to incorporate “virgin”.  Another idea is a checklist.  Just not sure of what the checklist would say.

  6. We have not cruised NCL since March 2020 so we are excited to cruise the Epic next month.  We always enjoyed eating lunch and breakfast in one of the dining rooms.  Just curious if there are new menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner since 2020?

  7. @Ohio boomer,  loving your review!!!  Two very importantly questions for you.  Do you know who the bartenders are in Maltings and do you know what bourbon is available on board?  We cruise Feb 12th and my husband is a huge Maltings  fan.  Would be nice if they had a good bourbon selection.  Selection could make us upgrade to premium+

We will be disembarking Celebrity Millennium on Feb 8, 2023. We dock at 6 am and our flight isn't until 1:50 pm. We do carry-on luggage only so we will be taking our luggage off the ship ourselves. The cruise line offers a few airport transfers that include some sightseeing. I would love to see a bit of Old SJ before going to the airport but the cruise line transfers are only available to people with flights after 3 pm. Does anyone have any recommendations for private tour companies that offers an airport transfer with Old SJ tour? Thanks 🙂

Just wondering if you found a tour?  We are looking for something similar!

    GA can be Babylon/Mayhem.
Be brave and sensible.  Go over the hill to La Plywood, better ambiance, view, food, drinks.  Plus one’s money will go further and custom will be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell me more about these two beaches?  Do you have a beach bar there you would recommend?  How far from the port is it?  We would probably take a taxi

  11. We have not cruised Carnival in a few years and now looking to book a 8 day cruise next February with the Included Cheers package.  This deal requires a non refundable $500 deposit for two people.  If we need to cancel due to COVID,  will the allow us to move that deposit to another cruise?  My concerns are if we do not have our full vaccinations or the border is still closed.  We are coming form Canada.

  12. I am looking at booking a cruise for May 2021.   We really like cruising on NCL and are 33 points away from platinum.   Our favourite Ncl ships have  been he  Escape, Bliss and Getaway.  We just did the Dawn this past March and found it a little too small for us.

I have narrowed it down to two cruises.  Both are nine days and have a very similar Southern  Caribbean itinerary.   Ncl getaway interior with the gets all 4 perks plus gratuities is $4700 Canadian. Celebrity Equinox interior including classic drink package and gratuities  included comes out to $3030 Canadian.   That is a huge difference and is seriously making me consider trying Celebrity. Anybody have any thoughts on comparing the two cruise lines? We do enjoy sitting at different bars in the evening having drinks. We’re not big on shows. We do like to participate in trivia and different games throughout the cruise. And we are in our mid 40’s and early 50’s.
