We just got off the Valor yesterday. I can say we saw men and women both in shorts or whatever on formal night. It was crazy and disappointing. We were the nicest dressed upstairs in the Washington dining room at 6PM. Not sure what downstairs looked like or the 8PM seating.. I dont know why Carnival will not somehow enforce this.. People stumbling drunk and shouting through the dining room made for a really bad experience.

Oh No, Not what I wanted to hear at all. Dang,lol.. I asked the TA and was told yes. Should have asked here first..

For what it's worth, according to the GOCCL site, the two big rooms 6499 and 6493 do not have connecting balconies to any other rooms nor to each other (while they have dividers between them, they cannot be held open because the divider would block the door to one of the rooms).

 

The balcony to 6489 can only be opened to connect to 6485. Again, it is about door the balcony door placement.

 

I know that isn't what you want to hear, but photos of the big balconies confirms that opening the divider between them would cause one of the cabins balcony doors to be blocked.

We are booked on the Magic next July 2nd. We have booked 6499,6493 and 6489. 6499 and 6493 are the large balconies and 6489 is regular. Can we have the dividers opened between all the rooms?

Does anyone know the intinerary for the 4 night valor since it has changed? Hours in Nassau the time at sea and such?

Oh yeah, you can bet your sweet booty this girl and my Hubby will not be off the ship.. It scares the crap outta me. I will be just fine on the ship. Even though we are disappointed we will still be on a ship and not at work..

I have read we will be spending overnight in Nassau and no Freeport. I called Carnival just a bit ago and they said no word as of yet. So I dont know what to believe. If we are in Nassau how does that work? What will the intinerary be for the 4 night cruise next Sunday? Will the ship shops be closed and the casino? What is going on,lol? We just want to know why we couldnt go to HMC or Key West? So if anyone has received an email from Carnival can you please share..

We did the Segways in Freeport and had an awesome time. About an hour on Segways driving on beach paths and roads. Ended the tour with some beach time. Really easy to operate.

We are thinking of the Discover Atlantis excursion and then in Freeport maybe the Segway excursion. Any help or input would be appreciated..

It's a wonderful place. Stayed there in August. It's new, clean, has a great pool and a good breakfast. And we got to check in early. You won't be disappointed!

We just booked there for our night before the cruise. Is it on the level of Country Inn and Suites, thats where we have always stayed until this trip and they were out of regular rooms..

It sounds to me like you should not have invited them to go with you. You do sound rude in your comments about them but that JMHO. If you act to them like you are talking on here it will probably be their first and last cruise with you and I know it would be mine if I were them..

We have always stayed at Country Inn and Suites but havent cruised in 6 yrs. We will be cruising Oct 30th so we will go down the day before and stay at a hotel and take the shuttle to the Port. Which one does everyone suggest?

I don't care if Carolina is the televised game but I do hope Cam lights it up. He's Qb on one of my fantasy teams. Might be more but the other 2 we haven't drafted yet. :D

We Love the Panthers and My Hubby was able to get Cam for his QB on one of his Fantasy teams.. So now more than ever we are hoping he kicks some butt,lol.

Arizona is at Carolina for a 1:25PM game on FOX

 

Current projections indicate this should be an important game.

 

Could very well be televised on the ship.

We will be on the Valor Oct 30th and love our Panthers and would love to watch them at 4:25 on the 30th. Is that even possible at the sports bar or anywhere on the ship.

Thanks all, We are super excited.. I think I will just book it through Carnival..

I made the final payment yesterday, we are so excited it has been 6 years since we have cruised..

We are wanting to go to the Atlantis Resort is it better to book through Carnival or the Resort? We just want to tour and maybe lunch..
