  1. We are arriving on October 15th to Yokohama/Osanbishi cruise terminal.  We are looking for a luggage delivery service to take our luggage to our Hotel. Does anyone know (post-Covid) if there is a Yamato or Sagawa booth/ kiosk in or very near the terminal?  Thanks so much for any assistance or information.

  2. I too am concerned about St. Martin/ Maarten. Currently our ship, Allure of the Seas, is scheduled to port there on March 8th with 4 other ships. Total tourist count will be approx. 17,000. Even when the island was at full running, this is a very busy and crowded tourist day. For them to have this many people there on a single day could be very difficult.

  3. I've read many comments about how there is a limited number on each cruise for the Ultimate Dining Package. However, I have never read a comment from anyone who wanted to purchase the package but was denied the opportunity to purchase.

So my question is this.... Has anyone attempted to purchase the Ultimate Dining Package and been told they were sold out? If yes, then what time after boarding was it ?

  4. OK, so maybe I'm out of the loop ..... but, who is this online agency that everyone is referring to? I know that you can't recommend specific agency's, but how does someone figure this out? Clues as to what to put in my google search engine. I am ready to book a March '17 cruise on Celebrity and want to get the best available deal. I saw the flyer linked in a previous post for the 4th of July Sale. Will all agency's have this offer available or will it be just this mystery online agency? In the past, I have booked my cruises online with a Membership Store that offers Travel Services. For Celebrity Cruises they offer a store gift card(sent about 3 weeks upon return of your cruise) as travel incentive. I would rather receive OBC to use towards specialty dining. Can any help me out?

    Thanks! :)

  5. If you are sailing on the Fantasy, the Remy Dessert Experience has a rapsberry macaroon files with fresh berries. Although I have not tried it yet.... It looks delicious. If you google remy dessert macaroon you can find a photo. BTW... The dessert experience is $50.

  6. I need help understanding the Jones Act and if it is possible to book a princess cruise. Here is the info.

So I get on in Los Angeles, off in Vancouver, back on in Vancouver and off in Seattle. Can I do this? If not, could I do a round trip Vancouver on another Cruise ship? Can I do it if I choose 2 different cruise lines? Any help understanding would be greatly appreciated.

  7. I posted this on the Florida departure board but was hoping that fellow Celebrity Cruisers who have cruised out of Miami may be able to share their experiences

I am looking at 2 flights. Both are LAX to FLL. We are cruising out of MIAMI and understand that the trip from POM to FLL takes about 40 minutes.

We are sailing on Celebrity Reflection and docking is posted @ 7am.

My first option is JetBlue which leaves @ 11:37 am or Virgin America which leaves @ 12pm. A difference of 23 minutes. The jet blue flight is $110 less and your first bag flies free which is another $50. For 2 people that is a savings of $320 for the two of us, which could pay for private transport if necessary. Just need advice and suggestions. Also, recommendation for reasonably proved private transport.

  9. Thanks for all the advice, ideas, and links. I think my plan of attack will be to email Michael Bayley's office (after final payment) and request the switch, (Classic Alcohol to Premium Non-alcohol)as it appears that some have been successful doing this. If this does not work, then I will request the switch @Guest Relations once on board. If they cannot help, then I will pay to upgrade to the Premium Alcohol Package, so I can have both of my favorite non-alcohol drinks. O'Douls and San Pellegrino.

  10. Just booked my Celebrity Reflection cruise yesterday, and choose the Classic Beverage Package as my Pick Your Perk choice. Now, I might be regretting it as I have been looking over my beverage choices and the 2 things I enjoy most at my meals ( sparkling Water and non-alcoholic beer, O'Douls)are NOT covered under the classic package. So disappointed. So have a choice of either upgrading to the premium package, or asking to be downgraded to the Premium Non-Alcohol Package and paying out of pocket for my O'Douls. I'm so surprised that they would list O'Douls on the Premium and not on the Classic and that it would cost over $6 on the ship and be considered a Premium Beer. Any chance it was just left off the Classic list? So my question if anyone can help is?

Does anyone know if you can downgrade from the Classic to the Premium Non-Alcohol Package? This would be so I could get my Sparkling Water

Can anyone confirm that an O'Douls cost more than the allotted $6 for a Beer on the classic package?

Should a non-drinker really upgrade to the Premium Alcohol package to get Sparkling Water and O'Douls?

Does anyone have a non-alcohol menu/smoothie menu they can share as I may have to adjust me drink preferences for the week?

Thanks in advance for any help, comments, advice.

  11. I cannot begin to thank you for your wonderful posts. I have been trying to convince my DH to make Tahiti our next big vacation and I didn't have him quite convinced....until.... I asked him to read your review. I was smart and had him do it today ( Memorial Day & day off), and brought him my Ipad so he could read it in bed early this morning. After about an hour of reading he was on board.

Thank you for being candid, honest, detailed, and insightful. You have made my day........and my next vacation. :D
