  1. Doesn't hurt to call Princess. A few years ago my family booked 1- jr suite & 1 balcony for a 13-day Med cruise. A few weeks after final payment the price dropped so much we were able to get upgraded to a jr suite and full suite PLUS OBC for both cabins. We had a great time celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary!!!!!!

  2. Thanks for the better descriptions..... for my mother & I it would not be worth it. I'm sure others will enjoy it and gladly pay the fee but sailing the first week of Nov I'm not expecting too many kids I would need to worry about. Plus I can put that money towards things that matter to us like photos and tours. Thanks again.

  3. My mom got the free offer from casino. Great offer! Free cabin was for inside but could upgrade for small fee for Ocean view and balcony. We are leaving Sunday on Freedom for 8 night and paid just over $800 for both of us in balcony cabin. Can't wait!

  4. I have been doing door decorations on cruises for many years on several lines. I even made a sm picture frame with elaborate decorations including parents wedding day picture with current picture for their 40th Anniversary. We had several cabins on deck 10, down from the bridge and during the 13 nights the staff coming & going from the bridge knew our family from the door décor! It was great to be walking around and having staff captain, hotel manager, director of security, etc giving well wishes to my parents. They never said anything negative about doors being decorated with the frames.

I have found it is always easier to use magnets anyway. I just hot glue it to the back of whatever I have & not worry about forgetting tape or tacking stuff to hang items.....I did it last year on Dream(and saved it) & have made an exact duplicate for my brothers cabin this year since he was not with us last year. Our cabin décor will match and nephews will know what cabins are ours....

I'm glad Disney trying to keep up on the upkeep of their ships. That is one thing I noticed last year on out first Disney cruise.

    Deck #: 12

    Class: C2 Suite

Balcony size: regular, even though a C2

    Wind a problem?: no

    Soot a problem?: sometimes

Problems/comments: No issues or problems other than noise from above. Loved view and cabin but will make sure next time booked between other cabin decks.

  6. My nephew has to take meds each morning and can only do so with this one particular flavor of yougart or flavored apple sauce but the back of the cruise book stated no coolers or perishables were allowed to be brought on. So, Is this true & we won't be able to bring a couple of the yougarts or a small tupperware with some of the flavored applesauce on for the cruise? He is extremely picky when it comes to taking his meds with this stuff. My brother & sis-in-law have not been able to get him to take the meds with fluids yet..... I see they have refrigerators in the cabins so are they a pre-filled mini bar? Also, are we allowed to bring a bottle of wine onboard for consumption on our balcony after we put the kids to sleep or it that a forbidden thing? Any help greatly appreciated.

  7. I was looking for that as well several weeks ago to do the same thing after my TA stated that Celebrity does not allow requests for tables of 2 anymore due to it getting "out of control". I thought it was B.S. but oh well. It was easier for me just to change to Select Dinning than worry about an e-mail for a request that might not be granted. Now I can book a table for 2 each night at the same time and know for a fact I will have it! You may want to do the same if paying your tips up front is OK with you.

  8. Even though people might bring these, you may want small sizes of sun lotion, hand santitizers, & if couples are bringing their own wine on board maybe a cork screw opener. Forgot that one year and had to pay the corkage fee to enjoy it on my balcony... Maybe on onboard credit for a picture of the group too that you can make a small 'certificate' from home about it.
