Can anyone please tell me how far Emerald Beach is from the Havensight pier? What would the taxi cost approx?

Can anyone please tell me which is the nicer of these beaches and how far each is from the cruise ship?

Are there facilities at each? Chairs, umbrellas?

We will be there tomorrow and would like a beach recommendation. I hear most beaches are very rocky?

Not into snorkeling just a dip in the water to cool off and a chair with umbrella.

Can anyone tell me if it is cheaper or more or less the same price to buy alcohol on the way home at the SJU airport or better to buy it in St. Thomas? I would much rather carry it on the plane than have to pack it in my checked bags.
