Caribbean is smaller and a little easier to get around, and sitting out or walking on the promenade deck is very nice to do.

We went at 10 am on a sea day. The pool deck was completely taken but the next deck up was completely open. Our problem was no waiter. You had to go down to the pool deck bar to get a drink. Eventually we did get a waiter. Do not know if that was the work schedule or we complained enough that they brought one in.
Waiters may not have been patrolling if nobody was there 😉

We were on the Cabo sailing in November. We were often able to get loungers by the retreat pool. Our cabin was right dthe hall, so it was easy to go check.

I'm pretty sure I have seen all the colors except green (stevia). I bring my own or use honey.

It has been about ten years since we last sailed with Princess. Am I reading this correctly? Is there a now charge for the pizza bar that is that was typically located near the main swimming pool on (3) different ships in the past?
Discovery Princess 1/27/2024 is our next cruise.
I had a slice of the included lido deck pizza on the Discovery last month. It was fresh and delicious. They had 3 kinds to choose from.

We were on the 5 day Cabo in a suite at the end of November. I was able to reserve 360 by calling a number provided in an email a couple months before. We were charged for the first night specialty dinner. I brought it up to the suite concierge since I had been able to reserve it without charge. She said it was only free for 6+ nights.

Strange that you guys don't know that the staff in the c reserve area also bring around a tray of p astries
That is not unique to suite breakfast
I think those are the MDR full size versions. I like the tiny ones so I can have a few bites and not waste or waist the rest.

The benefit of mimosas in Suite breakfast is that they're not charged against your 15 alcoholic beverages a day.
And if one doesn't have a beverage or cruise package, it's more of a bonus as you're not paying by the glass - same for specialty coffees...
We don't buy any packages because we just don't drink much, so we make use of the included specialty coffee. Once they learn your preferences, they will have it there. I loved my almond milk latte every morning.

It is very subtle, but I noticed that on the hallways I studied, the gold trim in the carpet pattern was on the forward side of the design.

That may be the way of the future but my previous stewards have been able to learn my patterns in one day without my having to hit a button. Also, it’s just kind of disgusting that he turned the bed before I left. What if I got back in the bed? That just grosses me out!!
The bottom line is that this guy was entitled and aggressive in handling my complaint and wanting to be finished with my room. Hopefully he will learn, but I expect he will find another career. I’m so sad that I did not get a survey to provide constructive feedback for him and praise for the wonderful staff that made my cruise special.
I'm sorry you had a lousy steward. We have had neutral ones but never a surly one. The steward we had on Discovery a month ago was excellent.
Check in your spam folder for the survey, they sometimes end up there. My DH didn't do his and got a reminder a week or so later.

We are on Riviera Deck mud-aft and for this location our Muster Station has always been Crown Grill Bar, but the new app is also showing Crooners Bar for us. One more item to be resolved.
Ours also shows as Muster station X Crooners. It has previously been Churchill lounge when we're on the same corridor.

I was looking at dining for our January 2025 Caribbean Princess cruise, and Sabatini shows at $35. I didn't check the CG, and didn't try to reserve. Just playing with the new app.

Thank you, BUT they don’t have a sodium list which is what I need. I’ve advised them by phone but can’t be sure it will be relayed. I guess I will find the head waiter when I get on the ship and talk with him so my dinner that 1st night is good.
The diet tab might have it, since low sodium is very common.

We have had window suites on the Discovery, Grand, and Caribbean Princess and got all the usual suite perks. Great value, especially on the older ships.

We received an email a month or two prior to the cruise with info on how to book 360. We were in a suite on Discovery in November.

I loved having an aft balcony in Alaska. Especially coming into Glacier Bay we saw a lot of wildlife, including whales and otters. The seemed to enjoy the slow wake.

I doubt that maintenance staff have the Medallion readers to know if someone is in the cabin. Guests may still be out and about at that hour.
My friend and I were disturbed after 11pm at a hotel because the maintenance man was looking for a piece of equipment and didn't realize that the room was occupied. He only knocked, but it scared me!

They had an info card with this offer at the future cruise desk on Discovery, but the planner didn't even mention it to us when we were booking our new trip.

Take your own liquor... OMG! Why would anyone do that! To save a few cents? In the scale of the cost of a cruise I really think that is cheap-skating to the highest degree.
Maybe the elite mini bar bottles? Custom drink.

Pub lunch was served at lunch in the MDR on the last sea day. Tasty as usual.

Which is better for an older couple - Enchanted Princess or Caribbean Princess?

Smaller than Enchanted though. I really like the Sapphire.
