When we leave Lake Charles we take I-10 to the Bridge City exit hwy 73 then take 73 all the way to Winnie then left on to hwy 124 to hwy 87 to ferry. Hwys 124 & 87 are 2 lane but usually little traffic.

There will probably be plenty in the trash. Thought the Tervis were getting too many but probably couldn't give these away.

I would like to see dress codes enforced but the thing that bothers me most is men sitting down to eat in dinning room with baseball cap on and not removing them. I'm from the south and you remove any hat before sitting at the table to eat.

I vote for the cookies chocolate chip & the sugar cookies. Carnival has the worse desserts.

Just not comfortable leaving keys for auto with someone else for 7 days,

Why can't someone have a different opinion and not be flamed or told to cruise on another line.
-
Sea Bands really work. Always cruise with them.

How many Tervis tumblers does one need. We had 6, gave 1 away and really don't want anymore.
-
You can use either

We did a b2b in Dec on Sunshine. Were given new s&s then walked off ship to customs. Handed customs form and agent told Carnival rep to walk us back on. Then security would not let us get back on ship with out going thru security check like we hadn't already been on ship, they did let us board before everyone else. Not what I expected.

I always ask as soon as we meet the room steward and is usually there by that night at bed turn down or before. On the Sunshine we met the room steward on our way to cabin and I had it before sailaway.

MDR favorite bitter & blanc
least favorite wmcc
Lido Buffet favorite chocolate chip & plain cookies
least favorite everything else.. Worst cheese cake if you can even call it that.
Carnival's desserts use to be good I don't know what happened.
-
Favorite: Conquest I like all the paintings (copy) on the ceiling in lobby and on wall you see from glass elevators and the fish & chips.
Least favorite: Sunshine added more cabins and had less seating in lido buffet and show lounge. Glad it is leaving NOLA.

Yes we still dress up. Hubby insist on wearing his tux so I go along on first formal second more casual but still dressy.

1. value
2. Carnival has been only one sailing from Gulf Coast year round. We are within driving distance of NOLA & Galveston.
3. atmosphere

Is there a future cruise desk on the Dream. We were on the Sunshine in Dec and I had planned to book our May Dream cruise but there wasn't any future cruise desk. In May we are thinking about booking our 40th anniversary cruise.
Thanks

Does the Dream have a future cruise desk. We will be on her in May and thinking about a Dec cruise.

The Sunshine did not have fridge in cabin. Had to request fridge for meds. Cabin steward had it in before we sailed. We were in aft balcony I don't know about suites

Yes I drink the water in the dining room. I also bring bottled water on board to use to mix with a powdered medication I take that taste much better with cold water than tap, and also to take a bottle off ship.
I sure everyone has different reasons for lugging water on board.

Leaving in 9 days on the Sunshine out of NO on a B2B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for some Sunshine!!!
Me to me to! 14 days on aft balcony and our platinum cruise :)

Hello, we too will be on your sailing. We are doing B2B so will stay on for the 8th sailing. I too am so excited and this is my 17th cruise!
We will also be doing the same b2b. Can't wait 2 weeks in an aft
balcony !!:)

We stayed there last Nov, booked from a discount booking engine and had to pay to park. There was less than a $10 difference if booked directly. The view of the port is great. Watched Ecstasy depart and Conquest arrive. Rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was a joke, convenience was great. We walked with our luggage to and from the part. Would do this again anytime we cruise out of Galveston.
Which Ships are Pushing the Once a Day Room Servicing?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

My opinion is if service is cut then gratuities should be reduced not increased. If I'm offered only once a day cabin cleaning then I will no longer prepay grats and reduce the amount accordingly. I know the cabin stewards work hard but I am not the one increasing the work load Carnival is. Will see how goes on Freedom next week.
