  1. I get motion sickness in the car, carnival rides, boats, etc. very easily:o

I take Bonine about 2 to 3 days before cruising at night before going to bed. Then continue the entire time while on the ship. I've never had a problem and we've only been on the smaller ships.

We've experienced some rocking on all our cruises.

On 2 cruises we've had someone in our group get a little motion sick. But nothing severe.

  2. On our first cruise, my daughters luggage didn't make it to the room with the rest of ours. After giving it a couple of hours to arrive, we finally decided to go check on it. On the way, we noticed a couple dozen bags in the stairs area. We spotted hers right away (it was bright green) and it had her luggage tag attached. We just grabbed it up and carried it to our room ourselves.:):)

  3. I don't remember the price, but I do remember it's alot more than I expected. I mail them to me niece and any nephews that aren't with me along with my husband's grandmother (she loves getting mail). It does take a long for everyone to get theirs, but they know there coming and it's kinda neat to see how long it takes. Plus they have a foreign stamp that the kids love.:)

I buy the postcards in the different ports. I buy the stamps at the pursers desk. They will mail them from the ship at the appropriate ports.

  4. I didn't go thru a TA to book our group, I handled everything myself.

Our upcoming cruise and our last cruise we received the free berth amount as an OBC. I got with our group rep a couple of weeks ago and verified our OBC amount and even had to fax them a letter stating how much OBC to issue for each cabin (I split the free berth with everyone in our group).

I'm glad I didn't use a TA or I would be waiting for a check in the mail:eek: when our cruise was over.

It doesn't amount to much, about $63.00. But it's nice to have OBC's waiting for you when you board the ship.:)

  5. This is what they did for our last cruise and our upcoming cruise:

    - They take the price of the group leader's fare minus taxes, etc.

I've been the group leader on both cruises and I contact Carnival after final payment and have them divide that amount equally amongst all cabins. That way everyone gets "a little" extra as an OBC.:)

Like Host Mach said, it's not alot. But it helps on the bar tab! I think this sailing we have $63.00/per cabin.

  6. We bought one on our last cruise... and it is huge! Luckily we drove down and didn't have to fly with it. We didn't get a free gift with it, but the bottle itself is a really neat keepsake and conversation piece. And the liquor sure does attrack lots of friends over.
